  • Reporting back on dinner......River Cobbler was 'ok' - can't say I was overly impressed and I don't know if I'd eat it plain as it were. But it was fine flaked in a Thai curry sauce with noodles.

Made a batch of mushroom soup (7 portions) while I was at it as well - I'm gonna look like a bowl of soup at this rate!

JulieG- Yes it came this morning, very impressed, I think this way of eating is going to suit me. Planning to have a good read tonight:T

You'll have to tell me what you think once you've read it. I can honestly say that after 'withdrawel' from carbs it's made a huge difference to my mood, energy and I am never hungry even though I am eating less!!!!

And a great side effect I discovered tonight... I split my wholewheat pizza dough for 6 pizza's into 16 smaller portions for me... and was pleased when I rolled 1 out and my pizza was 2/3rd of the size of a normal one for the boys!!! So I figured I had weighted it all to make sure my carbs were low.... so I ate it guilt free!!

I feel like I could waddle down the street now!
We spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. I don't and I'm happy!

Just wanted to pop on and send ((hugs)) where needed

Been out the local bar we go to on a Thursday, opened up a new "bar" at the back, with free first round and tapas, so we obviously couldn't miss that. Our friends have degreed we are on holiday for the week, so eating out eat night;)
