Redruby - (((hugs))) it must be so upsetting to see your Dad like that. As Candy said - it is possible to be trained to do the jabs - but maybe not possible in time for the next week when your Mum is away. x x

Candy - How gracious of your DD to allow you to visit Boo when she decides to let you! like you said she'll soon be running back when there's 2 little ones to care for. :D

That had crossed my mind Candy Just wait until she's trying to get someone to mind both of them....

Progress report...top two floors done, just three more to go. I've sorted the house elf's wardrobe too, and taken out all of the summer stuff that he has grown out of. I've also cleared the broken plant pot and soil that has been all over the top landing since Christmas when the cats knocked a plant pot over. I know I should have cleared it up before now but :embarasse:embarasse:embarasse

The bathroom lightbulbs are done, and I've managed to fix the hoover, yay me!

Don't know if this will work here.
    Obviously not:(

Cranky that's a very kind thought. I shall spend some time over half term typing up my list of suggestions for economising in my department & give it to my line manager, I know the suggestions will be ignored, but I will then feel I have done what I can.
Hubby is still busy working on the garden despite the weather, it has stopped raining, but is still very damp out.
I've made soup with all the stuff left in the fridge that was looking a bit sad. We will have that for lunch today & it will see me through some of next week too.
I have the last load of washing in the machine & I need to do a small amount of ironing, once that is done I shall be putting my feet up & doing some more crochet.
    Hugs Hester

    Afternoon All,

Late one for me today, but have been getting organised. Normally Saturday is my mega cleaning day but it got done yesterday instead. I don't know what happened, I started by cleaning a smudge off one of the glass doors and before I knew it had gone through the house, everywhere vacced and polished, all the bathrooms cleaned and paperwork sorted and I even cooked chocolate brownies:eek: I seemed to have so much energy, DH could smell the bleach as he came up the path.

Anyway that means a much easier Saturday. HH- I have just made the same soup as you, Sad Vegetable soup but I know it will taste good. I have also got two wholemeal loaves rising. I also need to make 24 cup cakes, I know there was a recipe on here somewhere for easy frosting, just need to find it.

DD is calling at tea time. She makes me laugh, always visits about tea time without actually saying they are coming for tea. I really don't mind at all and she will take one of the loaves, half the soup and cupcakes home with her which is my way of helping them out, they wouldn't accept money so this is a good way of making their budget stretch a bit further:)

RR- my heart breaks for you hun, it most be so difficult for you and your faimly (((hugs)))

I am wearing my red lucky knickers for the football at tea time:o so Crawley have no chance:rotfl:come on you reds:j Sorry Hillstep
