It is great news, but i will not be able to fully rest until i see it. I think we need to keep on hacking down before it changes, and hope for the best case scenario.0

Oooo good news on interest rates... hopefully by November we shall only be attacking one mortgage!
No big news for the past couple of days...
homemade lunches for us both..
Massive pot of stew for dinner last night - fed 4 of us (impromptu guests due to the size of it! :rotfl:) will feed us 2 tonight and another 2 dinners in the freezer- plus leftovers sent home with the others. I am sad when I get to adding up that £5 worth of meat plus maybe a couple quid of veg will feed maybe 12 meals- pehaps slightly more if you bulked it out so maybe 50p per dinner! (oh dear I really must get out more!)
By my calculations enough food in to last till payday with a spend for the month of £140ish (including easter eggs!)
Decorating this weekend thereby (hopefully) speeding up sale-ability of flat and MF-ness (ie. by not having a house!)
Non MF news..
may have been shopping in the sales yesterday ..... but I got some good bargains and lots of xmas/bday presents (as long as the boys dont mind girly presents!!)0 -
done some tiny things really...
Trying to be careful with my mpg (i dont have a computer in my car but im just trying to drive efficiently!)
Onepoll - up to £22 now so a long way to go!
Rated some reviews which im hoping I'll see some returns on
Wrote a review the other day in the highest category- new target is to get up to £20 before I the bank holidays next week (on about £16 now and I've been pretty slow going so this will be a stretch!)
Bought some reduced food and tried to keep grocery spends low
Got my money back from OH who owed me some0 -

today,
offered 3 hours extra work.
my mother in law wants me to cover her cleaner for a month whilst shes on holiday, and will pay me her wage.
going to make chocolate crispie cakes with sainsburys basic choc and basic rice crispies (kids love them).
Having a craft session and making all my family and friends birthdays/anniversary cards for the whole year (using bits from old cards) , saving approx £16.
going to look for surveys now , keep going everyone :T.Kindness costs nothing0 -
I know what you mean Youngone, I always work out roughly how much a meal has cost per head. I made some fishcakes last night with a tin of red salmon. I must have spent 5 minutes working out which tin was the most economical before buying. The Mr T homebrand was still the cheapest even though the brands were on 2for 1 offers etc. This made 9 fishcakes. DH and I had 2 each (3 would have been nice but not necessary) so the rest have gone in the freezer - works out at about 30p each including mash and onions.
Today:
NSD planned. Will hoover out the car after our picnic yesterday. It was too cold to sit outside to eat so car is now full of crumbs.
Take up bedroom curtains as currently hem is held up with tape (to gauge length not because I was too lazy to stitch!!!).
Write a letter to the Tax office re a query. Have tried to call twice but spent two minutes listening to the introduction before getting to the options (I timed it), listening to those and then waiting in a queue for 6minutes before giving up. You would think in this day and age they would tell you how far in the queue you are, or be able to email them. As it is a 0845 number I'm sure this is costing me a lot of money.
Going to a friends for (free) dinner.

Today I've got a home-made lunch, and I've done my daily clicks on Topcashback and Pigsback (although I might give up on the latter as I'm not sure I'll ever have enough points for a voucher!).
I have £9.25 on Valued Opinions, just waiting for 75p to clear so that I can order a voucher - probably Tesco, so we can spend it on groceries/save it for Christmas. :j
This week we got a £5 Morrisons voucher from the Morrisons Miles card we have. Also got £1.50 Tesco voucher (we rarely shop there, but get Clubcard points from what we pay on our fuel bills). I recently found a recycling point where I can get Clubcard points for recycling drinks cans, so there are currently three bags of these waiting for me at home to take to recycle!I'll get round to it eventually.
We're planning on going shopping at Sainsbury's this week to get the 5p off per litre of fuel as petrol is so expensive!
Dinner will be something home made, but not sure what yet!
MIL gave me £10 yesterday to buy myself something with, which I said she didn't need to give me, but she insisted, so that is being saved and I might buy myself something next month on my cashback credit card.0 -
