Wow - 8% account sounds good - do you have to bank with them to get it?

Today I've done loads of washing - but discovered that the line is pulling the bricks loose on the shed :(

I found 5p in coppers on the way back from the pub lunch so have put them in my jar. Only need to find another £30 worth to cover the rest of the lunch :D

Yes, you have to bank with them. I recently moved my current account to them and got the £100 joining bonus they offer. The regular saver's for amounts between £25-£300 per month.

PM me if you're interested in joining, I may be able to get a refer a friend bonus to split with someone. Can ask them anyway. I got referred by someone on MSE (but they didn't split the bonus with me after saying they would) :(

This is soooo embarassing, but I don't know how to do links. If you put in twinks hobnobs and search the forum bit at the top of the page it should'nt take long to find , they are famous on here.

or I could just type it out, sorry !

    Mix 8 oz flour(self raising I think)
    8oz brown sugar
    8oz oats , together in a bowl.

Melt 8oz marg in a pan with 1tblsp of golden syrup and 1tblsp water. When melted add 1/2 tsp of bicarb of soda. Pour the liquid into the dry mix.

Mix then make into small balls, put on a greased sheet and roughly flatten with a fork, cook for 15 mins on 180, take out when golden not brown.

I hope i have passed this on correctly!

Linz, how much do you need to earn to get the account? I am looking to switch DH so it may be an option for him.

£1500 a month (doesn't have to be a salary, works like the £1000 for the Halifax Rewards. You have to use their switching service for the £100 welcome bonus tho.

Ooooh I have all those hobnob ingredients in the cupboard. Will make some this week, cheers!
