Hello!
Well the usual for me for the last 2 days (phones charged at work, Tiki/ Sun/ TAB, packed lunches)
+ yesterday:
* Did some surveys and withdrew a £10 amazon voucher - I think I may have some moths in the spare bedroom so decided to use the vouchers to buy some goodies to kill the evil things
* Felt all happy thanks to the sunshine and impulsively invited loads of people round for a BBQ on Sunday... However, used £10 worth of Nectar points to go towards the cost of feeding them so should actually work out quite cheap
* I am supposedly better off by £9 a month thanks to the new tax change but I still cannot get my head around why (or how it is even possible that) my taxable income is more than my gross income???????
And today:
* NSD0 -
* Free Brekkie at work (If an oat bar counts)
* BOE Base rate held - updated my mortgage spreadsheet to reflect - which is good as I'd put in a possible rise for this month
* Charging phone at work0 -

I have just seen that and really happy with that too...
whilst I am extremely lucky to have picked a lender who actually passed on the cut, I didnt want it to go up just yet...:)0 -
* Rooted through BF's Asda Receipts and did price check on them all
* Doing an 'evening job' tonight.....it's really a social thing but the manager gives me £20 for helping out once in a blue moon
* So instead of spending £4.50 on Petrol going home and there, I'm sat at my desk eating an Innocent Veg Pot (£1.74 Half price offer at Tescos), so that I can go straight there - makes it a long day though
* Entered Innocent Veg Pots Comp
The comp is for the chance to win a selection of pots delivered to your work place to share with your collegues (yeah right!)
Email your name, work address, tel no., and number of people working there to:-

It says, if you're not in an office, send your details anyway and you may win some vouchers.0 -
Some dubious savings today!
a) OP 15p.
b) Upgraded my BT broadband to super fast (apparently) - I am telling myself it'll be a saving in the long term, but can't really justify it yet.
c) Bought some cheap phones off ebay - seconds, and really cheap with a good amazon review rather than buy them new, as we really never use the phones.
d) Am having a very cheap week at work - been ill for 2 days - no lunch or tea - boo! And am having lunch made for me tomorrow - and today were free sandwiches from the bosses. Total of £1.89 for the week. Winner.
e) Will cash in my pot of small change on Saturday at Sainsburys (other supermarkets do exist) - hoping for £20 or so. I put in £.67 into that today from my small change.
f) Emailed officebrowniepoints@innocentdrinks.co.uk to see if I can get a freebie (see post above)
g) £8 of Tesco vouchers received too (Just read that in Summerday's post below)

This is my 2nd posting on here in a week. Steady on summerday!
Not that I've achieved huge amounts but it all helps I guess:
-Posted off a few ink cartidges from DH's work, the Recycling Factory give good rates for some of the cartridges they use, just over £3 for some. So hopefully will get £15 ish.
-Posted off a dress I sold on Ebay.
-Found the microwavable sachets of rice I buy for work most days at £1.30 each in supermarkets for only 79p each in Aldi! Result! I will stock up after the Easter hols.
-Received £23 worth of Clubcard vouchers today in post, boosted by us using Tesco credit card on everyday expenses. Will save up the points to use either on mag subscriptions for myself or gifts, or on theatre tokens for family birthdays via Airmiles.
-Ordered some library books for our trip to Paris next week instead of buying books.
-Have found our veg seeds ready to plant lettuce, toms, peppers and will look for some cheap flower seeds at the weekend, French marigolds hopefully. This is money saving as I nearly filled in an order form for garden-ready flowers before realising how unnecessary that would be, especially as we have a greenhouse!!
-Bought a pair of running shoes from Aldi for only £15, look good quality and I'm determined to start running or at least jogging. This will be part of my healthy living regime I intend to start very soon. I had a really good piece of news at the Doctors this week and it's been a huge relief to me after months of worrying... so I'm going to make the most of my health, I feel so completely different about my future now.
-Babysat Mon nite and earned £17, also babysitting tomorrow night. Will take marking work with me to get it out of the way.
That's all folks, hope you're all enjoying the sunshine, long may it last! xYesterday is today's memories, tomorrow is today's dreams0 -

Well, got back from hols to the pile of post.... had won 3 lots of giftcards worth $150 for the supermarket so spent them on the weekly shop. OH then gets back from work with another giftcard for £120 which can be spent at a few places but I reckon I will use it for next weeks shopping.
OH is working 30 hours overtime over the next two weeks so that will be good as we did spend a little bit more than we meant to on our hols.
Entered some more comps this morning.
Got the kids a home today as its the start of the school hols, going to do some baking with them later after we have been to the park....walking there of course!
Thats me for now!
