I've taken your kick up the Michelle and I've fiiinally written a review!! I've also got something else to do tonight and I'm feeling ok. Hopefully I'll find some things to write about at my bfs!!

    Morning everyone.

I'm off to a great start today. Kids off school and happy to snuggle under a blanket sleepily while watching early kids telly.

I've done a survey network survey for 80p, and sent my shop and scan info for £1.10, and contacted them as i also have something on my computer which they monitor, and it doesn't appear to be working after downloading the new software and i don't want to miss out there.

singlemum you are not alone. There are other single parents, but they are a bit rarer on this board. There is ally and pammy who have diaries of the top of my head. Sounds like sleep is hard for you at the minute, so i hope keeping busy is a comfort to you.

liuhut great wins there, i am sure that really helps the budget.

tinkerbel It wasn't a kick, it was a nudge. ;) And i am glad it worked. I prefer to think of it as inspiring you to have a think. :rotfl:I need to keep up momentum there as i feel like vegetating with the kids now they are on holiday but if i do that, everything will fall apart. :o

    Today I:

    * drove the short way home from work (saving a couple of miles on the car)
    * dropped car off for MOT early so more time to get any necessary work done and saved petrol driving it down there in the morning (but have to cycle down in the morning with the MOT cert to get the extra time added on )
    * went to an agency interview at lunchtime and drank their drink instead of buying one!
    * ate random old leftovers like yesterday's cold chips, for my dinner

Are you sure, did they tell you that? I forgot to take mine with me and they said not to worry as it's now all on a system and the start date is automatic

They said as they did not do the previous MOT, that it does not work that way for them, only if they did the MOT last yr. I think they are probably not PC literate enough, but am a bit cross about the time it will take to go there and back.

Well it's not worth the risk of losing the days - how annoying!

Mine was at a different place this year and it was no problem - like you say - they might not fully understand

Hope it passes - some years I've felt more nervous about my MOT than the dentist - and that's saying something!
