I love your post Caroline :rotfl:

    Today I have:
    * waited until I got home to call the Job Centre back as it was not free on my mobile.
    * brought fruit and veg from the market as it is cheap and I was in town anyway to see an agency, so 2 errands, 1 car park fee
    * left home with enough time to part in the free parking spaces and walk to the appt (they were full, but at least I tried)
    * paid the car park then nipped back to a shop rather than go just over the extra hour and have to pay more for my parking (did have to give up on going to a second shop in the 15 mins they give you to get out of the car park :D)
    * been to the pound shop and 99p shop and got some small jars so I can make DH jellies for work, and got a jar of cheap reduced sugar jam
    * got some wheat bran to bulk out porridge
    * got cheap fruit where possible - like bruised bananas to make banana bread or cake of some kind later in the week

I am away on business so don't have to spend any money on food however I have had 4 hours to kill in the centre of Plymouth today and they have a lovely Hotel Chocolate so not good really.

Did put £5 worth of 1p pieces into the bank unfortunately I left 30p in my handbag. That's 30 1p pieces. Pain

This weekend will be better though as I have an almost free weekend thanks to MS, lunch, dinner & breakfast plus overnight stay. Not too bad.
