Ok, today -
- Long day at work and NSD,
- Chicken tikka masala curry for tea with thighs from a £3 Aldi chicken i'd jointed (portion for tomorrow too)
- Packed lunch for tomorrow done with stuff I have in
- Daily clicks, surveys
- Halifax £5 and some daily click/ebay earnings transferred to savings (paid max OP for the month y'day so anything else goes to savings for now)#39 - Save £12k in 20250 -
Today I have:
- Made £10 from two Halifax Reward Accounts
- Saved £55 on new glasses by getting voucher from employers to cover cost. Didn't even look at the expensive designer frames, but stuck to more budget range. 13year old DD helped choose the frames so hopefully will be fine, whatever they are FREE!!
- NSD
- Got daughter's prom dress ready to take to dress agency in hope it will sell.0 -
Today I have/will:
* go put thermals on before deciding if I need the heating on today!
* received an emailed voucher for innocent OJ - shame I have no working printer :rotfl: I need to get that working as I was talking last night about buying a bottle of OJ
* done my daily RM posting data entry
* signed up for an additional RM survey activity for a few weeks time :j
* DH's car insurance needs renewing for tomorrow. He made me a door curtain hinged rod yesterday instead of doing this, so I guess I need to do his insurance in exchange!Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0 -
Today I have:
Got 6 free, free range eggs from the chickens at work, so cheapy tea tonight - baked spud with egg mayo & cheese.
Last nights leftovers for lunch.
Very cold here this morning but the heating didnt come on because I had left the fire in last night ! Put another shovel of coal on before I went to work so it should still be lit when I get home at lunchtime. Lucky cats !
Upto £27.55 on Onepoll.
Got some Mr T vouchers through the post 1 x £7 off £50 spend and 5 x £5 off £50 spend.
Think they are trying to win me back as I have been using Mr S for the last 4-5 months.
I think I may use the first voucher to stock up the wine cellar rather than food as I have just put £200 on our re-loadable Sainsburys card (I get 5% cashback so £10 went to the the OP pot !).0 -
Yesterday/Today I have/will:-
* Did my Halifax shennigans so that I would get next months rewards £10 which are automatically included in my OP on the 1st of every month
* Free lunch at work
* Charged my phone at work
* Completed YouGov oracle survey - 0 points but hopefully will generate some further invites
* Last nights tea was at my mums - I invited myself
* Took my mum shopping but managed to restrain myself from spending £15+ on naff-allJust bought woopsie bread for freezer, 22p lemon curd and a £1.25 timed air freshner so I could feel better about working with my really smelly boss
* Altered the timing on my lamp as it's lighter longer
* Only wanted to watch one thing last night so watched it on iplayer running off laptop battery that had been........charged at work!!
* Hardly had the heating on (even though I felt a little sulky about it last night - my hands were frozen!)
* Finally reconciled my CC balance against my own records and found that pesky 3p that's been MIA for the past 8 months (3p less to pay next time)
* Defrosted something from the freezer for tonights tea which I will have at work inbetween finishing 1 job and starting another rather than going in somewhere and buying something over-priced or going home and spending £4.50 in Petrol
* Downloaded Nectar Search to get 200 sign-up points
* Moved CA surplus balance to savings to earn a massive 0.45% gross for the next few days whilst I don't need it
Must try harder:-
* MPG is a bit down
Errrm thats all for now. Have a good day0 -

I've just ordered some from speckyfoureyes after seeing them on the quick grab it board. They've had really good reviews and as long as you know your prescription they are pretty cheap (£16 for 2 Playboy pairs and delivery).
Might be worth it for next time if you can get the prescription paid for?[STRIKE]£2200[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£1950[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1850[/STRIKE] £1600 on my credit card

I have helped DH with the insurance quotes - scandalous really how much insurance has risen. I also transferred money to the cashback CC to make enough room for his car insurance payment, and mine later in the month.
I found 1p on the floor in the park whilst exercising so I picked it up and carried it home for the loose change tin. Great to get paid for exercising
I also ate for lunch the soup I made last night that DH disliked and put some stale HM bread in it.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0 -

DH's friend works in an optician and offered to help me with the PD measurement etc and to fit them for me without charging. Guess I should get over my embarassment and ask him to help me at those prices.
Just wanted to do more than hit the thanks button.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0
