    Mornin all!
Am loving this thread for keeping me motivated (now just need a "what exercise have you done today" one and Ill be all set! ;) )
ps mw yes I think the walking counts as exercise! :rotfl:

Well so far this week I have
    1) been to work - this too is the biggest MF thing I do .... I am trying to see it as a means to an end rather than get wrapped up in it all...
2)sold my last amazon book- should net me about £20 must post today tho!!
3)packed/free lunches all week from stuff already in the fridge/cupboards, also made last nights dinner from store cupboards and definitely have enough in for the next couple of weeks dinners without any more takeaways/dinners out!

ummmm...thats about it I think! not bad for this week as its only tuesday morning I guess!! :rotfl:

    Today I have
    • done a meal plan for next week to involve 'decluttering' the freezer and spending as little as poss
    • walked to 'little Tesco' and only bought what I needed to (Spent £5.58)
    • put extra clothes on rather than switching on the heating
    • Checked my bank balance to make sure it's as it should be
    • withdrawn enough money until next Friday
    • put aside the money I need for car parking/breakfast club so everything else can be spent (Or ideally saved)
    Later I will
    • make some banana cakes as I have some over ripe bananas, they won't waste then

I also love this thread , we just paid another £2000 off the mortgage yesturday and now only have £14000 left to go.
    I AM SO EXCITED :j.

TOday woke up to find I have sold our trailer on ebay for £220
so thats going towards the mortgage.
I dont have anything else to sell, so it all down to surveys and careful living. I read that using a capfull of value shampoo in the washing machine, works out at 1p per wash , saving £50 a year!
    So trying it today.

Baking lots of oat cakes today for kids pack lunches.

    thats about it :T.
    Kindness costs nothing :)

caroline , you will get there - just keep chipping away at it.
We looked at our old statements recently
and 6 years ago we owed £38,000. Just shows how things change.

    So far today:
    • Not used the car - no petrol and NSD
    • just spotted an email i have sold a DVD on amazon for a fiver.
    • 25p on onepoll up to now.
    • 25 points for starting an Ipsos survey, so now only 30 points away from payout on there.
    • had a power cut that lasted an hour, so saved a minimum of 2.5p for the basic house running cost, plus whatever else we would have used.
    • checked banking/zopa etc, and worked out i owe the world about £19.5k which is over £4k less than one month ago. :j
And as for thinking back 6 years ago, we owed £70k on the mortgage then, and now it is £28k, so a few years does make a big difference.
