Not a good MSE weekend for me Im afraid.
Did the meal plan for the week and the visit to Mr S but went over budget as there was 25% off on wine ! Oh well, it will still save me money in the long run !
This is the one area of the budget which I refuse to cut, especially as cigarettes and nights out were cut long ago during our DFW days !
Had to take one of the cats to the vet. £50 lighter and a packet of those magic pink tablets which all you pet owners will be familiar with !
Also contracted a nasty virus courtesy of Ebay and had to completely wipe the computer to get rid of it. Luckily all our documents were backed up.
Today I have:
Done the monthly juggle as DH has been paid. -

£100 mortgage.
£100 to savings.
£100 to new car fund.

Batch cooked a huge pot of basic bolognese sauce for freezing in portions.
Made tuna pasta bake for tea/leftovers for dinner tomorrow.

Washing hung outside - rather optimistic of me I think !0 -

OOh I love pasties, I am going around nicking peoples recipes if you care to share
Well all I did was cut up a couple of carrots and potatoes that needed using up, along with an onion, into really small cubes, boiled them for a bit and fried off some minced beef at the same time then put the mince and the veg together and added gravy made from the water the veg was boiled in, seasoned and added some curry powder for a bit of spice, and used up some ready made pastry out of the freezer that I had left. Will make the pastry from scratch next time tho, I think.
Made about 14 little pasties all in all. Still have the mixture left for loads more but ran out of pastry lol#39 - Save £12k in 20250 -
