    Hi All,
I'm not a MFW but I've been reading this thread with interet you all seem so determined and focused!
I am a MFW in the sense that I don't have a house yet but I want to have the biggest deposit so that I can have the smallest mortgage (and ofc I'm going to get one you can overpay!)!

Taking advantage of the ebay free listing weekend have listed 23 items if they go for maiden bid I'll get £288.

I doubt they'll all sell but there's larger items amongst such as cot, some toys, small clothes bundles etc.

So no risk really if they don't sell I'll not have lost anything. It annoys me paying to insert items (esp higher priced items) then them not selling.
    OPs so far £42,139

Went to Mr T's to fill up the tank before the price shoots up again and used the 5p voucher. £110 to fill , voucher was £4.20 which I sent to the mortgage pot.

OH wanted to buy pizza, reminded him that he couldn't cook it though as microwave oven broke so therefore SAVED £3 !

Bought PVA glue so I can make my mum her birthday and mothers day card , I bought the craft supply needed in the JL sale at Christmas. Saving a few ££'s already.

Going to make cornflake cakes again at Easter but instead of putting mini eggs on top I'm putting smarties - on offer at 4 tubes for £1. My poor children! :D
I can't be bothered updating this anymore
  • Since yesterday's post I have
    • Listed 3 things on Ebay. One has sold on BIN and money is in Paypal already. I will walk to the post office tomorrow to send that off.
    • Listed more books on GM - that's 81 books there now.
Had takeaway fail yesterday evening so that was £20 spent I didn't need to. However on the brightside I don't need to go food shopping until Wednesday now.

    First time for me on this thread, tho I have posted on the similar one on the DFW board before. This weekend I have;

    1) Made a load of mini meat and potato pasties for lunches / light meals, tried one and they taste just the same as Greggs ones :D
    2) Not been out and no plans to go out either so NSW.
    3) Done daily clicks and a few New Vista surveys on TCB. Couple of cashback sites paid out over the weekend too - £12.78 and £7.64 :)
    4) Booked National Express coach ticket to go and see my parents next weekend. With petrol prices going up it is now cheaper for me to go by coach. It's about 1.5 hours longer as I have to change en route but saves mileage on my car. Found a 25% off code and hoping the 5% cashback on TCB tracks too :)
    5) Ran out of credit on Giffgaff today and am holding off buying top-up until someone texts me :rotfl: hardly anything left in the current account but payday tomorrow so not long to wait :j
