This weekend we bought minimal drinks at the wedding and didn't get lunch out on the way home, instead i got some supermarket bits and made toasties when we got in.

I got minimal shopping and have been reviewing my mealplan and shopping list to maximise what I get where.

Went to Mr T's to fill up the tank before the price shoots up again and used the 5p voucher. £110 to fill , voucher was £4.20 which I sent to the mortgage pot.

OMG what do you drive

Hopefully it will last the month ! - Audi Q7 - big and in-ya-face with 7 seats . We have 2 cars the others more economical- thankfully.

P.S It normally costs £105 to fill but for some reason £110 today ( then minus my voucher) although Mr T's says its come down this week, the pump lady ( what else do you call them?) says its likely to go up to 1.35p a litre of diesel in the next week because of the Libya situation - so get filling those tanks!

PPS I'm loving this thread - it really makes you think about things and is friendly competition ifgwim. Everyone is so nice here

I've had quite a quiet day, although I did go and do some conservation work with a local group this morning.

My very minor MS activities were hanging out a load of washing on the line AND getting it off just before it started to rain so I didn't have to spin it a second time and throw it in the dryer!!!!

A minor money saving miracle also occurred today - my brother rang me so he paid for the call. Amazing!! All bow down and give thanks to the money saving gods.

I did ring my mum, though!
