    • I was just about to give up on my old dyson as the suction had got really bad and was about to get a new one...decided first to look this problem up on you tube...lo and behold i discovered there were 2 filters in the dyson that i knew nothing about and have never been cleaned in 7 years :eek:. Have just spent ages cleaning them and their casings and now have to wait 12 hours till they dry out to see if it has worked. I really hope it has as this will save over £200 :D:D
    • The rest of the ebayers have paid up and i have £100 sitting in paypal...just need to resist the temptation to spend it :rotfl:

I used nectar points on my Mr S shop this week.

Currently I have two loads out on the line - it is freezing cold in the wind but I am hoping for some air drying :D

I did my shopping scanning, but have a scanner problem and it can't send :(

Since I last posted I have:

    - won $500 on a casino site, totally free (if the money turns up which it should)
    - got triple points and £10 off £100 at Sainsbury's
    - took a load of sweets home which was left over from a conference now DH has enough and there is plenty for trick or treaters.
    - made chicken stock using left over carcass
    - bought shoes on Ebay I really need for work so although £60 for 2 pairs its still a saving as they cost £70 each new. Really needed a black pair of boots still not found them but will keep looking.

    This weekend I have:

    - Made a big batch of chicken stew with carcass and leftover bits of meat
    - Made about 12 small meat & potato pasties with defrosted minced beef (Even used the rest of the egg glaze mix to make some pancake mix for after tea :rotfl:
    - Bought 2 x Christmas presents for my mum from ebay. Making her up a Scottish themed hamper and saw pocket tartan diary and Scotland calendar on there - £7.50 and hamper almost finished :)
    - Got my dad 8 bottles of real ale on offer at Tesco 4 for £5 as part of his Christmas present. Glad to be getting these things now whilst I see them and they are on offer, will mean I can relax in December :)
    - Loaf of whoopsied Kingsmill for 34p from the Spar round the corner.
    - £1 for a 2l of milk on promotion at Tesco. Decanted into three and 2 portions in freezer (don't use much milk.)
    - 2 x 70p Populus surveys on TCB
    - Buildings insurance people have been ringing every day wanting my custom for another 12 months. Did a quote as a new customer which came out £70 cheaper than renewal so rang and told them I would be shopping around and not automatically renewing. Strangely the calls have now stopped!

    Think that's it!
