    Hi All

    1 Pinecon3 survey - £4.00
    Charged phone at work.
Made crumble with apples the neighbour popped round.

I knitted myself a pair of slippers out of some old wool in my stash saving myself a few quid (and a trip to the shops!)

This morning I Bought 2x 'Front Cover Style Queen' makeup boxes from Boots, reduced from £35 to £17 each (to put away for Xmas pressies) and got points to the value of £5. At the till I also got a voucher for £5 off no7 and have been looking at nail varnishes this week but have been put off the price LOL so was able to treat myself to that for £2!

If anyone is interested in the makeup boxes then be quick as they are selling like hot cakes.

Whilst in town I closed an old account and transferred the balance into my CA ready for next months OP

I also used my Quidco Ap on my smart phone to claim 0.20p 'check-in' cashback - just standing outside the shop did the trick - easy peasy!

I got a snow shovel for £8 in Mr A yesterday - they have the metal blade on the plastic scoop, so look OK quality. They have big bags of salt for £3 - very tempting but I wasn't going to walk home with a shovel, bag of shopping *and* a big bag of salt :D

I think this is moneysaving as they will be dearer nearer bad weather times. Now I just need to decide if I want the walking grips to go on shoes.

Also transferred £20 Amaz0n sale money to the savings for OP pot - nealry £30 in there already and only made an OP at start of Sept :D

  • Went to cinema and smuggled our own stuff in....goes without saying really

Used our National Trust membership for a day out and made sure we avoided the temptation of the restaurant and came home to food in the fridge......I nearly crumbled!
