want to join panel base and opinion poll, so if someone wants to get a recommendation reward (if their is one then) then please get in touch!
always have the debate of whether to join more panels or work harder on the ones I am on to get them to the redemption balance but these seem good on here and have low redemption values!0 -
Well done people keep it up thought I'd stop by, offerings from me;

*50p on You Gov
* Worked today even though I hadn't planned to.:o all extra.
xxxxxMortgage at Highest:£145,000

Have been poorly sick with cold/flu for the last few days so not a lot of 'small things' done unfortunately. Had a couple of NSDs but even though I wasn't 'out' spending, I still had to pay for car insurance online & DH took my car for MOT (which it failed) so lots of £s spent
Have been on the overpayments calculator again(it's a toss up as to whether I'm most addicted to this or Rightmove!!) & if I can miraculously spirit £750 extra into the mortgage each month I'll knock 6 years off the term!! Just have to work out how to achieve this [STRIKE]pipedream[/STRIKE] ~ I don't think my average 30p a day OP surveys are going to cut it somehow!!

This weekend I have -
- Bought 2 x loaves from the Spar's reduced shelf for sandwiches for lunch; grand total 45p, now in freezer.
- Stayed in last night, ate from stores and treated myself to a piece of home made chocolate cake
- Made some mini pasties today. They taste nice but pastry was a bit short I think and kept splitting. Will try better next time, first time in aaages i've made pastry myself.
- Defrosted and roasted a whoopsied chicken I got a while back. Made 2 portions of chicken curry, one for tea, one for in the week. The rest will go into a massive stew I plan to do in the week. Will hopefully make about 4 or 5 portions.
- Moved surplus £200 from current account to savings. (I've stopped OP'ing at the mo as I am saving for a deposit on another house. Want to keep mine now and go BTL, using rent to supplement retirement income in the future. Fund currently £4285 and looking to get to at least £15k so might take a while!)
Think that's it. Hope everyone's having a nice weekend.#39 - Save £12k in 20250 -

Not to mention all the 'house' programmes I watch ~ Location, New Reclaimers (think that's what it's called), repeats of property ladder, anything to do with houses really!!:rotfl:
Ok, small things ~- £9 off a £60 spend in Mr. T (not as good as squirrel's £12 off £60 I noticed on her thread the other day!!) Anyway, happy as I only spent £30 myself & the other £30 was my Dad's shopping (but I got the £9 off so I got mine for £21
)
- Having an almost free dinner tonight as I got a seasoning sample to test from a survey & will get £3 back when I submit my feedback ~ not fantastic as I have to provide the fresh ingredients & will have spent a bit more than £3 but not too bad.
- Made store cupboard dinners over the weekend
- Looked through recipe books for cheap & cheerful (& easy to make) meal ideas
- Started writing a weekly meal plan & shopping list ~ got nearly everything I needed today but am missing a vital ingredient ~ brisket if anyone knows where I can buy it from?? Couldn't find any in Mr. T or Aldi & am really craving a slow-cooked brisket stew (blaming Chamichelle for this as she mentioned it on her thread
)

pp - I have to admit (shamefully) i have no idea what a briskett is .... I imagine it as some kind of large beef joint or something .... mmm sounds yummy! hope someone can shed some light on soon for you!!
Little bits and pieces for me:(mostly involving spending money in order to save it! hmmmm....)
Finished off xmas/bday gifts with some £10 off £20 bodyshop vouchers ...
shopped in lidl the other day and got some good bargains to see us through hopefully a cheapish month
some sale bargains in clothes for next summer/early winter lots of tops/jumpers reduced to between £1 and £3!! (no more clothes needed now!)
£5 coming from amazon!
submitted work expenses
dinners from freezer/store cupboards!

Yep, the elusive brisket is a beef joint thingy, cheaper than the usual joints that you roast. I've only had it once before & it was yummy ~ I'm still on the hunt for it though & still slavering at the thought!!
Small things in very short supply lately ~- had a NSD today
- surveys thin on the ground (keep getting screened out) but at least I got £3 from the seasoning sample the other day
- having egg, chips & beans for dinner tonight ~ 'cheep' meal
- still busy getting the garden sorted before the council stop their free green waste collection

My mum does brisket quite a lot in her slow cooker. She gets hers from the local butcher but i'm sure supermarkets have brisket cuts aswell.
Mmmm hungry now thinking about it lol#39 - Save £12k in 20250 -
