Today I spent £2.80 (free delivery) on an A6 day to view black diary on Amazon rather than the one I usually buy from WHSmith priced at £6.99 (same one I have bought for the last 5 years). No free delivery at WHSmith unless you spend £15
. I am sure I can adapt to a slightly different diary (I use paper diaries to keep a running tab on savings, credit card, mortgage and current account balances!)!

-reorganised kitchen cupboards last night. Turns out I have enough rice, lentils and tinned tomatoes to outlast a siege. I see dhansaks in my future. Was annoying to find so much stuff that needed throwing away but at least now I know what I have, so I'll use it! BTW my cupboards are still full. Odd:eek:

-had coffee using a disposable filter thingy rather than succumbing to the coffee shop at work

Made a massive batch of pasta and sauce with sausage and veg ingredients cost about £3 and got 4 meals out of it

Signed up with O2 priority moments to get a free odeon cinema ticket every week!!!! Got my first code for a free ticket woohoo!!!0 -
- I bought a load of greeting cards off a friend which are brilliant quality and less than half the price of any other greeting card (have previously been paying £2.50 a card, and these worked out an average of 80p)
- I've set up a spreadsheet to budget for this year and next year to detail everything I spend and I've factored in a monthly overpayment to my mortgage where possible
- I rang my mobile provider last week and got switched to a cheaper tariff that still more than meets my needs
- told kids that tea is going to be out of the freezer...I'm not going shopping every single day just because I'm a SAHM. Eat what's already in here.0 -

He mentioned it after work that i could probably do a good enough job and we have a pair of clippers up the stairs...so i thought why not...cant believe how well it turned out :j. This has saved £7 on going to the hairdressers so i have just paid this directly off the mortgage

Bought stir fry veg pack half price at morrisons 69p
4 x VALUE chicken noodles (11p each) 44p
Turkey breast already had in freezer but only cost about a quid when bought originally
Made turkey stir fry with veg & noodles and soy sauce bloody delicious and fed us both!! for less than £2
Used cash back credit card to book hotel for anniversary, got a bargain on laterooms.com and also about £4.50 cash back. Booked the hotel with cashback accumulated from American Express last year!!!
Got free air for my tyres after someone drove off and left credit in the machine
Morrisons miles points for petrol, and again paid for it with cashback card
Drove less aggresively well for me anyway so prob saved a bit of fuel.
Going away for weekend and got stuff to make packups
