    Used a £10 off morrisons voucher for my shopping and got lots of bargains.

    claimed a £10 VO voucher.

    Have taken a load of photos to list items on ebay (free listings weekend).

    Someone's paying me £5 to repair there necklace (only takes 5 mins).

    Doing lots of baking with some free apples I was given yesturday.

    And hubby returned to work "TODAY" after being sick since may :j.
    Our mortgage should be paid off sometime next year "hopefully" , after 8 years of paying it down. We keep talking about it :rotfl:.

    Glad hubby better and back at work now!

    My efforts this week....
    pack lunches into work everyday
    dinner from freezer/cupboards
    driving to friends bday tonite saving money on wine and taxi home (tempting though it is!;))
    free dove shower gel arrived today, also applied for some free shampoo! every little helps and all that!
    resisted buying cake with coffee this morning (good for the wallet and the waistline!)
    work expenses gone in and paid off mortgage!

    Might even stretch to a holiday somewhere nice ;).
    Its amazing how it suddenly starts to happen and you find yourself near the finishing line. We started over paying 9 years ago and will finish our mortgage 11 years early :j.

  • Bought some shoes online and hunted around to get a voucher for free delivery - alas I couldn't find any but the intention was there! It's a bit of a cop out but I tried :)
    Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved
    September 2016 - Back into clearing a mortgage - Was due to be paid off in 32 years in March 2047 -
    April 2018 down to 28.00 months vs 30.04 months at normal payment.
    Predicted mortgage clearing 03/2047 - now looking at 02/2045

    Aims: 1) To pay off mortgage within 20 years - 2037

    - done onepoll surveys
    - meal planned for the week
    - sent hubby to work with a packed lunch
    - listed some books/ dvd's on amazon
    - looked out some stuff for ebay
    - made a £250 overpayment.

    Phoned sky to make sure account closed and been told I dont have to make any more payments.

    Look a few bits on ebay and found the cheapest price.

    Phoned MBNA and canceled the account.
    MFIT-T3 - 31 = (2012 £3050) 2013 op = £3009
