Well done emsky! That sounds good! Keep at it everyone!!
  • Just rang my car insurer to discuss my renewal premium, after visiting a comparison website.

£13 knocked off the premium as a "loyalty discount" - not bad for simply making a phone call :) :T

    Can I join in too?

    Today I have:

    - had a NSD
    - took packed lunches to work, prepared them for tomorrow
    - listed some items on eBay and amazon
    - dinner from meal plan

    Still to do:

    - check for Onepoll surveys
    - read through some of the diaries for inspiration

    :)
  • Hi all

Really good to see how well everyone is doing.

We've finally set up an overpayment of £95 a month. Just that will save us £18K in interset and end mortgage nearly 5 years early!!

I will need to cut back on other stuff though, and I think this was the only way that I will really take it seriously!!

Have also Balance transfered DH's credit card balance of £3.5k onto a 0% offer I had for 12months, cancelled a £4 DD and sent off CV to 2 agencies for temporary work I know they have vacancies for at the moment.
