I hope you've had a nice long lie down in a dark room after that terrible ordeal

I've persuaded DS that he's old enough to have a go at swallowing tablets, and he found it really easy. Great - a pack of supermarket's own paracetamol tablets will be so much cheaper than a bottle of calpol in future. I find myself wondering why children's paracetamol or ibuprofen syrup bottles or sachets usually only give doses up to age 9, but adult tablets say don't give to children under 12. Just what are you supposed to do with children of 10 or 11? (Half the adult dose seemed to agree with the syrup dose for a 9-year-old, and he's older than that, so that's what I let him have.)Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

I went to Mr T for some shopping and when my extra points coupon didn't scan I waited for the supervisor to come instead of giving up (like I'm sure they wanted me to do). Only 25 points but I have previously rarely used them and I figured I deserved the few pence it would amount to.
So, I used 2x 25 points coupons today on my spending. I also got only the stuff on my list (... and a pair of half price trousers...).
I have also done some decluttering but I don't think I can ebay old paperwork :rotfl:Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0 -

well not quite a NSD day as I had to go into town at lunchtime to pick up my boots (now repaired and saving me the cost of buying a new pair for work)...
I did make myself a Breville toastie before I went so that I wouldn't be tempted to pick something up in town.
However - I bought myself a replacement pedometer (I thought my old stalwart needed a new battery and spent £8.50 on one, only to find that it was the pedometer itself totally on the blink).
Just did my reebok step session and now going to make the most of a day of working at home to make a decent stir-fry.
I'm laying out all my gym-stuff on the bed and heading to the Watford office tomorrow - rather than come home and probably talk myself OUT of the gym, I am going to have my stuff in the car and go straight there from work. Rather than cut down on things like Gym membership, I am actually going to make a point of going more. They're probably going to think I am training for 2012!!!
Although tomorrow won't be an NSD, I am going to take in cut up apples, some mixed nuts and a nana so that I resist the urge to visit the vending machine. And I am going to avoid starbucks at lunch, and only use the free coffee in the office.
Edit: actually ended up making a MAHUSIVE stir-fry so leftovers are for tomorrow when I get back from the gym so I don't have to cook!!!- Mortgage @ March 2008: £194,965 ; Lightbulb Moment: July 2011: £164,926; End Date: March 2033
