    Well done Michelle. I've:

    * worked hard all day (am shattered)
    * got cheap food shop in Herr A on the way home and cooked instead of take away
    * drove home at 60
    * at the weekend I wore my bra with the straps tucked into my dress rather than buying a strapless one - it was a special occasion for which I'd got a CS dress that was strapless but never normally dress like that.

    Now off to bed... zzzzzzzzzzzz

Not much at all from me :(
    • Signed up with another account on OnePoll - £2.50 bonus and a few surveys and I'm already over £3 :)
    • Made a nice big load of potato salad for tea and have enough left over for OH's lunches - he says mine is the best he's ever tasted :o
    • Had a BBQ (on a Monday! ) saving electricity using donated briquettes and we have enough left overs for another meal/OH's lunches

Could anyone recommend other survey sites like OnePoll?

You might like crowdology. They email you when there is a new survey, and it is usually about 5 minutes/40p, although they do longer ones and i have never qualified. They are always a bit random, like you get 90 seconds to give as many answers as you can to a question. Today it was stuff like name the programme that this nurse was in - list of names - space for you to fill in the answer. Then there have been ones like name as many Sean connery films as you can.

I quite like it, but its taken me a couple of months to reach £4 paypal payout.

    Hi

I was hoping to join your thread for some inspiration.

I have cut all the bills down to as low as possible. We did this four years ago when I moved in with my now husband. We regularly check the bills and keep and eye on how much gas, electric and water etc. we use.

I have now come to the point where we can not get the bills down any further and we are spending as little as possible.

Do you get to that point where you think you can not do any more???

So it must be that I now need to do the little things and for that I need some inspiration!

Before everyone shouts "make your own bread" I already do that:rotfl:

but other suggestions would be fab xx

Just join in paidinchickens, and do whatever you fancy that someone else does. I guess when we are all doing so many different things, it might give you an idea what you have time for or might enjoy.

For me, i feel a bit of a failure today. I went to Mr A to make a start on kids school uniform ready for September, and spent a fortune. Nothing we didn't need though sadly. Not as bad as the woman in front who had to leave half her shopping as she couldn't pay for it.

Back in though, i got a crown on DY this morning, which took my account to the £40 level, so i need to make sure i work hard for the next couple of weeks to get a payout this month. Averaging £50 every 2 months still, but it is slow. :o
