  • I got some "snowflake" blanks this week from ebay. I know its early, but I have started on a few bits for "December".....I won't mention the "C" word yet.:D

    That's a nice sized pot of seed beads for £1.10. I'm very jealous! I went to the Nottingham bead shop today and bought a few bits. I always end up buying prettiness and then not knowing what to make with it. You'll have to post us some pics of what you make with your haul shiprob :)

    Bought knotted adjustabe jade bracelet years ago, and now the string is worn(skinny dlb green cord) I thought I'd have a go at knotting .!st prob. what cord/string & sizes.So got C lon (D) and some beads of EBY.!st mistake,they are thinner than thread,beads are nits. Bought book Chinese knots for beading,looks good. Q1:How can I find out about bead-hole sizes,is there a chart? 2 Rattail is to big for my old jade,what string? 3, Is this rattail http://direct.hobbycraft.co.uk/products-Celebrate-Lime-Cord-Ribbon-2mmx10m_295182.htm or can you tell us what's the difference?     do they do their sales countrywide, do you think they come near me? (Nott/Derbys border). Please will you tell me how to find out too? I find myself sadly lacking in places you can actually go and look/feel the beads before you can buy them around here :(
