Hi All,
Would be really interested to hear more about the silver clay....I love this! I'd really like to try silver clay. Has anyone else tried it? Is it very difficult to get good results?
Thank you RachyD
I'm pleased to see this thread back again. I have done a lot more with silver clay since the ring. Happy to answer any questions for you
Its not hard at all to get a good result although rings are one of the more tricky things to master when you start out. Here a few more things I have made..

Thank youyour bracelet is stunning, well done.xx
It took a while and I had blisters from pulling the work so tight, lol. Worth it in the end I think.
Wen-tom I love, love, love that necklace!! Do you have to have a kiln to fire the clay in? x0 -

hello, is there room for a small one? I've been lurking for a couple of days trying to summon up the courage to say hello
.
I've been making jewellery for a year or so now after doing a course at college, just beadwork and a bit of basic chain maille, although I'm a bit out of practice cos of the school holidays - if I get my stuff out the kids descend and "help".
It's really nice to find somewhere to chatter with like minded people about it, so I hope no-one minds if I join in with you all. There's some fantastic makes on here you are all really talented, I will post you a couple of pics of mine later if that's ok (gotta take dd1 school uniform shopping first
) :rotfl: Em xx :rotfl:0 -
Little tip for those of you who make charm bracelets and looking for cheap chain to make your own bracelet blanks. Primark are currently selling elasticated charm bracelets for £1 and if you snip the elastic holding the links together, they are actually made of over 1m of good quality charm chain, ideal for cutting to size and adding a clasp.
