If you get a chance to go to it then the Big Bead Fair at Sandown Park Racecourse in October will be well worth a visit............
Good value websites for beads are https://www.totallybeads.co.uk and for gemstones Kernow Crafts are good...........I also use The Pearl Girl and Bluestreak beads but they are a little more expensive...........

Thanks jess!! They do take quite a while but it's very therapeutic. I was just making them for fun but now I'm saving up for my mum's 50th birthday so I've just opened a shop on folksy after it was recommended on here - only those two pieces on at the moment but I hope to get some more on later today0

I had a jewellery party for a few of my friends this week. I layed out all my items on a the dining table and invited 20 or so ladies to come and have a gossip and a glass of wine.
I sold far more pieces that I imagined and took enough orders to keep me busy for a week or so.
2 of my friends who couldn't attend have aske me to bring all my stock to theirs houses for further parties in the next couple of months. :j
I have been placing a few orders on ebay for beads and findings from China....generally takes 10 working days.
Watch out for beads sales in your local area http://www.beadsupermarket.co.uk/

Hi All,
Can I join please?
Since I had my little girl my jewellery making has gone by the wayside - I used to love it and want to get started up again!
Some lovely makes. I love the silver bracelet. Would be really interested to hear more about the silver clay....
I'll try and post some pics of my previous makes at some point.
