Sorry but i tend to disagree with you on this one as they have'nt closed my account but have made it quite clear that if in future im not happy with the charges they apply to my account then they will look at down grading my account so i have no borrowing facilities, no that i have any borrowing facilities with them.
From all the posts that i have read on here i have'nt seen anyone who has had their account closed just for reclaiming their bank charges0 -
i have 3 acc with natwest, i have put in a claim on 1 of the acc's, if i win, they may shut the acc, but will they shut mt other acc's too? i have a ica, step acc, and current acc,

I wrote to Natwest to reclaim my charges, they sent me my bank statements and I wrote back to them on 24th April telling them how much they should refund. I have had an acknowledgement of this letter but heard nothing more. Should I have heard by now?
Also I have had more charges since I wrote to them, I am on a circle of charges, its the charges each month that put me over my overdraft!
Can anyone tell me whether I have to write to them each time?
The charges at the time of my letter totalled about £1300 and I reckon since then over my three natwest accounts there has probably been at least another £200 since then.0 -

No, my claims been going onto the 3rd month with Lloyds and I have had one standard bog off letter from them, i'm in the middle of 2 court claims now. Stick to your timescales in your letters, you can keep adding charges on up to the point of filing at court,

Hi its been awail and I have now had my case transfered to Exeter where they have told me to sit tight and wait for a date but the general feeling there is Cobbetts will make an offer a few days before the case. Is this the case with anyone else?

Hi all,
Firstly I am seeing quite a few success stories from natwest! I started my claim on 30-05-07 with the first letter from martins web site. Received a letter back saying they were considering the claim for £779.14 Inc Interest however that it would take 6-7 weeks to respond?!
Do I send the second letter or wait to see if they get back to me. would consider the letter with the 25% off offer but don't want to give them to much if they are giving more?
Cheers and good luck!
Hi,
Grant1983 i'm in he exact scenario. Should i wait the 6-8 weeks Natwest have said it is going to take, or send them the second letter?
I'm inclined to send the second letter, but i would love to hear other peoples stories and advice on this.
Thanks0
