Hi Jonun
well i called Natwest this morning to be told my claim is "being looked into" well they have been saying that since they received my letter bloody 7 weeks ago!!!! they said a letter will be posted out to me at the latest on the 7th june, thing is im confused i thought i had to recieve a letter from the bank within 56 days not they have 56 days to send me a bloody letter????? Anyway the woman i spoke to was so miserable she deserves to work in CRU and get loads of grief from us lot. LOL0 -
Hi all. Just to report a success from Natwest. I got to the stage of filling in the MCOL form. However, i stopped short of submitting it as i needed some info that didn't have when i started. By the time i'd got the info and got some time to fill the rest of the form, Natwest wrote to me.
Full offer of £3290!! As a good will gesture !!! My Ar*e !! So cancelled the MCOL.
Looks like i've been lucky with a full refund of charges.
Thanks to all here for their help and advice. Big thanks to Martin, and Frugal Pam
Good luck to the rest of you claiming.
Congratulations!!!
Can I ask how long it took from sending in your letter asking for the fees to be returned? I had a problem getting my statements and had to keep visiting the branch to chase them up. When I handed them my letter one week ago the assistant on the services desk was very arogant. I've not yet received even an acknowledgement of my letter...

Hi All
Recieved my offer from natwest today, and have a quick question for anyone who's been paid out..
How did you recieve your money?
Basically i would like my money by cheque, as if it went into my account it would be swallowed up..
What should i do?0 -

Hi - why not ring or write to them to ask them for payment by cheque?

Thanks for the reply Pam
Ive basically sent back the accceptance with a not saying 'I accept this offer fully on the condition I am paid by cheque'..
Fingers crossed!
Hopefully they'll accept this. Most success stories I've read say they recieved a cheque anyway.. Hopefully this will all be sorted soon!0 -

I accepted their offer last tuesday and it got paid straight into my account today. Don't really know how you can avoid it getting swallowed though. Possibly open a second account with them then ring and tell them this is the account you want it paying into?
Good luck.0 -
