Can anyone help - getting a little confused now! My hearing - NatWest - 4 July. I know I have to send court bundle which is all correspondence between me and NatWest/Solicitors, bank charges and court docs but just reading a thread on CAG and they give example of court bundle index which includes loads of paperwork with cases details, FSA information etc. Does this all have to be included? Im concerned that if this does go to the hearing, the judge might ask me something to do with these cases and I wont know! What EXACTLY do you say to the judge on the day when he asks the question why do you consider these charges unfair/unlawful? Do I need to know the legal jargon to answer this question. Im concerned because I think after the Lloyds ruling the other day, more and more courts will take this right up to the hearing with a defence. Would really appreciate any help as have to have my court bundle in next week. Anyone out there at the same stage as me? JG
Nat West - MCOL March - FatWest defended - hearing date 4 July - 2300 claimed and still having charges put onto account!!

HSBC - sent 14 day - still waiting for reply. MCOL by end of week - claiming 795 - eventually paid out £560.

Halifax - sent for statements Feb - cheque cashed - nothing received - reported to FSA - paid up almost amount claimed before official complaint registered with FSA

    i dont believe this..
let me just give a brief recap before i go onto what happened today..

    2nd April requested statements
10th April 1st letter sent with spreadsheet of charges requesting charges
25th April LBA sent with copy of spreadsheet of charges enc.
    No acknowledgement at all..
numerous calls made ..usual 56 days timescale etc...
out of the blue on tuesday i received another 6 years of statements..
just assumed was a mistake..delaying tactic on their part and put them aside..

Just rang customer relations for an update and guess what?????
They are not accepting my spreadsheets and they sent me the other batch of statements for me to highlight and return!!
I asked why wasnt i informed of this on the thousand times ive rang..why wasnt there a letter with the statements asking me to highlight them with an explanation..or a call telling me..what was wrong with my spreadsheets in the 1st place??

I told him this is not acceptable, hes gonna speak to a colleague and ring me back//
I think its a delaying tactic and i bet they tell me i have to make the claim again..
    I cannot believe natwest ...
im gonna borrow the money and go straight to mcol after this now..
Please everybody tale what natwest say with a pinch of salt..
i cant believe what they have cooked up there??

il let you know what happens when he calls back..

ps..he told me the amount i was claiming for and even tried to tell me that they had no record of my spreadsheets, i told him that they have 2 letters with spreadsheets attatched sent via recorded delivery also 2 copies of both letters with spreadsheets attached were sent to my local branch so it shouldnt be hard for them to get hold of one..
thats when he went on to say they are not accepting them anyway..

Oh no I cant believe they have the cheek to do that - did you do your spreadsheets off here?

Well to be honest i think thats alot of sh*t how come it is only now the mention it and why has this not happened to anyone before? Everyone who has submitted a claim has probably used the spreadsheet template off here and they have probably paid out to loads of people who have done so too!

U know what ive just checked my very first letter and i didnt even list my charges on a spreadsheet I used a word document and listed them that way - so we shall wait and see what they say about that one. It makes no odds what you list your charges on thats utter crap - U could write them with blood on a recycled piece of paper if you wanted to as long as they are listed what does it matter eh.

If this is the case Jo why havent they sent out duplicate statements to other people so we can highlight and send them back eh - and why do they need the statements back I for one wouldnt pay the postage to send a big heavy bundle like that back.

U tell them and add it to the FO complaint - that is the biggest load of s*it ive heard off them so far and believe me ive heard lots off them.

Sorry to rant but im so angry for you!

Oh and ive had news today aswell but i'll post separetly so i dont take up too much space on the board in one go!

great news. I, however, am not having such luck with NatWest. I have sent the first, second and now third letter to them since 30th March 2007 and have not even had a response/reply. I am claiming just under £5K and not sure where to go from here. Do I still have a case even tho they have not responded or acknowledged my Claim. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Sorry, dont know how to start a new thread.

See the natwest (merged) thread seems like we are all having fun with them lot!

    3rd letter?

If they don't respond to 2 then they won't respond to 3.

Get your claim in at court.

Personally I don't much rate MCOL, it's far easier just going into your local court, it's much easier to communicate with a real person rather than having to go through a web form.
Hamsters have no tact and diplomacy, nor do they want any.
