Completed and posted my Allocation Questionnaire with £100 today to the county court.
Can anyone advise if I need to respond to the solicotor's letter aswell. ?
The info and the legal stuff mentioned in there defence seems very confusing !!! - can anyone advise any websites that may assist if I do need to reply.
Thank you.0 -
thanks for that natweststaffmember- i actually called the ...444 natwest number yesterday and they said that the o'draft was completely interest free. guessing that they may be wrong, given the original t & cs, i called the lending dept today and they confirmed exactly what you said.
after sucessfully opening an alliance and leicester premier direct account today (just waiting to see what o'draft facility they'll offer me) i popped letter no. 1 in the post to natwest with the cheque to see what charges i've paid over 6 years. i call £320 in the sweepstake.... but, in an added twist, i have been offered, and verbally accepted, a full time position with the rbs group! apparently one has to have a rbs group act to work for them, so in order to close my act they'd now have to sack me. touche :rolleyes:0 -
Just been reading through this and have decided to try and reclaim back some fee's myself. Only think it would be around £200 but I may be surprised and at the end of the day thats MY money.
I have a few questions thought;
1. How long roughly from sending the first letter to recieving a response and good gesture offer does this usually take?
2. Whats the chances of them actually offering you it back?
3. Who do I write the cheque out to? (This is with Natwest)
Thanks for all the advice0 -

Hi all
Have got to the stage that I sent my 2nd letter on the 5th Dec 2006. Then as I hadn't recieved a reply within the 14 days I sent another letter wanting Natwest to urgently look at this matter on the 30th Dec 2006.
I recieved today(6th Jan 2007) a letter thanking me for my 1st letter dated the 5th Dec 06, which wasn't a recorded delievery letter which the 2nd letter was - Natwest are sorry they've not yet been able to respond & that I bear with them in the meantime. They are currently investigating & will respond to me as soon as possible.
This was from Stuart Higley in Customer Relations. I sent my letters to Retail Regulatory Risk Dept. What are Natwest playing at?
Has anyone else had different Depts. send them letters?
What is the next plan of action? Do I respond to this letter or wait?
Also I am an Advantage Gold Card holder & just found out Natwest CHARGE you for this account, £12!!!!! I called & asked why? Because of all the benefits you recieve with the account was the reply. I've been with Natwest ever since I have had a bank account, which is in excess of 20 years - I'm now going with A & L as Natwest are a joke. Charging you to have an account you've had for years is a joke.0 -
Hiya,
I looked into reclaiming a few months ago, and i was told by my branch of Natwest, that Natwest werent taking part in this.
Can anyone please tell me if this is true, or they trying to fob me off?
Thanks in advance.0 -
I think they're just trying to scare you off to be honest. There are lots of Natwest success stories on here.0
