Hi - all the info is in this thread - see post #3
Good luck,

Eeeek scary stuff
I've got a few personal things I have to deal with before I can sit down & concentrate on MCOL, when I start it I want to get it right but I have other things on my mind, so looks like natwest will be having a few more days grace from me.
Let me know how you get on with the forms ect, best of luck to you
P.S. I posted the link which I see you got, is that what you wanted? not sure what help you needed.
Hey there Paw169 - how are things? Haven't seen you posting for a day or 2, but you said you'd be busy for a while. Hope all is well!

Filed my MCOL claim last night, against Natwest.
Checked the status of the claim today (was panicking a tad incase I'd filled out the form incorrectly) and glad to see that my claim has been served on Natwest :T
To anyone hesitating about doing this - go for it! I'll tell you - it gave me such a feel-good feeling to hit the 'Submit' (the claim) button last night, and to see that on the screen today. I will never forget the hell they put me through with charges, a few yrs ago. OK, its a drop in the ocean to Natwest, but even so it's still VERY satisfying!

Hi Pam,
i know exactly how you felt when i pressed the button to file my claim against them on 26/3/07, it was deemed served on them 31/3/07, they had until the 14/4/07 to acknowledge it, the sods did on the 12/4:mad: , just another delaying tactic, they now have until 28/4. Counting the days down.

If I've put this question in the wrong place I am really sorry but keep getting a bit lost on the site!!
I'm still unsure of what to do next - can someone give me some advice please? I sent my letters to Nat West asking for my charges back, then chasing them and eventually threatening court action but I did not send them by registered/recorded delivery - should I resend or just assume they have had my letters and are just ignoring them? I
Hiya - have you spoken to Natwest Customer Relations at all? They should be able to tell you if they have received your letters. If they have received them, and have gone over the 14 days threatening court action letter and not written to you, then you can go ahead with MCOL.
If they say they haven't had your letters..... then it's their word against yours. You could write again, but this time send them by recorded delivery so you've got proof. Hopefully someone else will come along and advise.
all the best,

Grrr... don't they get you mad! I'm expecting similar fun and games with my claim, but at least now we're in the Court process, they can't ignore letters any more, nor try to fob us off with tales of being busy and we'll have to wait 56 days blah blah. They have to respond to the court :j Nice to feel we're controlling the process - good luck with your claim!
We should think of a name for those of us in the process of MCOL'ing Natwest :rotfl:

Other than my statements being sent fairly prompt, I have also been completely ignored by Nat West . All letters have been hand delivered to my branch to ensure that they would not be 'lost in the post'
I have sent an additional letter to the advised processto Borehamwood address last Monday ,giving them one last chance to make an offer in 48 hrs toavoid court proceedings as Iintended issuing this Monday. Again No response
I intended toissue today but now wonder if I should try and ring but are they just going to delay further eg @give another 2 weks and then again no offer
Q Should I just go for it now ?
Q How long will I be given to lodge my answer Questionairre an dif IOmiss any deadlines willit be dismissed
I really do not want to miss the boat here and I have come so far
However I am going on holiday on 2nd May for 3 weeks If I issue tomorrow and they are served by next Monday 23/04 They then will have till approx 7/05
When does the Questionnaire come out
Q If I ring them and then they ask for more time etc will I be deemed unreasonable bythe Court if I still issue at the same time
Q How do you get I get the phone number ?
may sound a silly question but it all seems to be callcentres This week I rang the ( I think) overdraft/loan section to query/discuss some further charges which had gone on last weekend .A separate issue in a way to my claim ( though not now) Was given 'short shrift' Assistent could not help and " not allowed to discuss " - "write to" --- a dept in Birmingham PO Box number given. I asked for a phone number " Don't have one you have got to write"
Am a little frustrated as I am out working and getting a bit weary
Should I just start proceedings and hope I can keep on to re holidays etc0 -
They are never to busy to press the button that costs £ 35 or £ 38 at the weekend when you can't deposit money even if you had it.0
