Hi All, Can anyone tell me if natwest pay out do they give you a cheque or bank transfer?
Thnanks xx0 -
Got some of my bank statements yesterday from Natwest but not all of them ..do they send them in batches or do I need to get on the phone to them tomorrow morning?0

Usually they cover a month, or three months and send them as a batch. Does it not have '1 of 3' or something similar at the bottom? As a PowerSeller, I never leave feedback first. The reason I do this is because I know how much it winds the people on the forums up... :beer:0

Hi, I asked for a cheque when I wrote to natwest each time but I've been told since that they only send a cheque if the account is closed. However, reading some posts on here, some have been paid out via a cheque. Sorry, not much help there, hopefully natweststaffmember can clarify this for usI'm confused on this one too.

Hi
Mine came from Natwest in 3 envelopes on different days. For some reason they weren't in order so at first I thought some were missing but they turned up when I went through them in detail. There were also duplicates of some of them. Odd, but got there in the end so I guess that's all that matters.
Good luck reclaiming

My daughter has been trying to reclaim her charges. she was in credit by about 56p back in November 2005. A charge from the previous month took her overdrawn. She then lost her job. From that time she has not put any money in only job seekers allowance and this was swallowed up into the charges) or tried to draw any money out of the account and charges have taken the overdraft upto £450.
In February of this year she wrote her first letter to the Branch and this is a breakdown of what has happened since. Hopefully it may help someone else trying to reclaim from Natwest.
6 Feb 2007 Wrote to Branch, enclosing schedule and requesting charges be paid back - No reply
8 March 2007 Received Formal Notice of intention to file default from Natwest Birmingham collections Centre
12 March 2007 Sent response letter to Collections Centre along with copy of letter sent to Branch - No reply
12 March 2007 Sent further letter to Branch with copy of previous letter - No reply
12 March 2007Contacted Finacial Services Ombudsman and complained of lack of response from the Bank and Collections Centre sending Formal Letter whilst account is in dispute.
12 March 2007 FSO sent letter of complaint, on daughter's behalf, to Natwest.
9 April 2007 Letter received from Natwest, Customer Relations saying the are pepared to consider refunding administration charges i.e unpaid fees, paaid referrel fees, card misuse fees and unauthorised borrowing fees, as a gesture of goodwill and asking her to telephone them (not yet done but will be done tomorrow)
13 April 2007 Received a Formal Demand letter dated 6 April 2007 from Birmingham Collections Centre
15 April 2007 Received a telephone call from Collections Centre. I spoke to them on my daughter's behalf. I told them she has had no response to the letters she has written and I was told there was no log of concern on their system. The concerns have now been logged and will hold off any action on their behalf for 2 weeks.
Hopefully in the meantime se will get her charges back or at least confirmation that they will refund them.
I hope the above helps someone else trying to reclaim.
I would point out that she had no replies at all from the Branch or collections department until she contacted the FSO.0 -
Nope no numbers on the bottom Spew, but they have sent me duplicates of a few like you received Piggybanker.
Thanks guys - guess some more should show up tomorrow and as the week goes on.0 -

Well, I'm shortly going to be starting a MCOL claim against Natwest. Is there one place or post that sets out the process, what to write, etc? I've had a search round, but there hundreds of pages on the 'reclaiming bank charges' thread to plough through, which is going to take a long time to get through!! I've also looked on the MCOL thread, but again, tons of pages to plough through,
thanks

Hiya matey, this might help, click on the link & scroll down until you get to just above the "major warning" box, click on the sample template of what to write. Good luck!
