Well - I've decided I'm going to stick with the timescales. However, I've just realised something.... the letter I sent giving them 14 days before I started court action was signed for by them (good old Track and Trace) on 2nd April. I'd been thinking I'd start on MCOL on the 16th - i.e. 14 days later. Now I realise they'd take that as 14 working days, so that'd take it to the 19th April. AND there have been 2 bank holidays (that's an ironic name :rotfl: ) so I should maybe wait til the 21st April??? I really want to get this over with and get my dosh back!

I thought it was "working days" BUT I was roaming around this site one day (as I do ;) ) & saw someone answer somebody elses question on this, they quoted "calendar days", I quoted "ooh I didn't know that, I thought it was working days", someone else replied & backed up the "calendar days", I wouldn't mind knowing THE right DAYS as some before & after on other parts of the site have stated "working days?!? I'm confused on this one. It'd be nice if it was "calendar" :)

    Woo Hoo!!
Finally recieved the money in my account!!

They recieved my offer letter on the 3rd but was told to wait upto 14 working days for my account to be credited.

Not good enough IMO so I emailed customer relations yesterday morning quoting all sorts of legal jargon and lo and behold the money is transferred late afternoon:beer:

If anyone is still waiting for their money after a week PM me and I'll give a copy of the email I sent- it worked for me!
If you like it, do it.

14 days for the letters mean 14 days not working days, however as you can see from the above post if the bank use 14 days they are likely to mean 14 working days.

    Hi Everyone,
Stick with it they really do pay up. They put £7521.00 into my account yesterday, this is the full amount minus interest.
Sent initial letter asking for charges back 19th February,
2nd letter threatening court 6th March, had no reply or acknowledgement to either,
phoned on 19th March and told an offer letter would be sent out by end of month, didn't believe them as I had not received anything so far,
    started MCOL on 19th March,
offer letter arrived 23rd March, I signed and returned it the same day,
I phoned on 4th April to find out how much longer and they didn't have anything logged to my account to say I had returned acceptance letter, so sent it again by Special Delivery.
    Funds in account 11th April.
I will stop the MCOL now!!! Wouldn't do it until money was in my account.

Keep with it everyone I'm sure you will get your money too. :T :j

Thanks to everyone who gave me support all the way.

Just an update. The MCOL papers were deemed served on the 10th, just checked it's status & Natwest have acknowledged it so they now have until 8th May to respond. From what I've read so far they have acknowledged it really quickly...really hoping they pay up soon

I have recently been issued with a court date against natwest, i have got to wait until the 3rd week of May. I have no idea what is happening as reclaiming charges has been the last thing on my mind recently.
