i received natwests defence the CPR Part 18 with regaurd to CPR Rule 27.2.(3)thing this morning
am i right in thinking i just Acknowledge these and just fill in the AQ when it arrives? or do i need to answer all the complacated questions and then fill in the aq when it comes?
i am getting a bit lost with it now:undecided
thanks for all the help this site has given me up to date0 -
Oh what a bummer Pam - keep on at them though and you might remind them of their statutory obligation to adhere to your request within 40 days!!!
I went through all my papers last night and realised I've actally got every bank statment here so I've skipped the SAR stage. I posted my prelim letter today by Registered Mail, I'm excited!!!0 -

Oh good!! I hope it goes well for you.
Well - I've got a simple spreadsheet ready to tot up all those charges - and I'm going to try for interest as well. Just dying to fire off that letter to them before they run out of cash :rotfl:
Keep us posted on how it all goes

I wish I could help, but I'm sure someone will be along soon to help you sort this out. Good luck with your claim!
I just wonder why they're paying up without argument with some of us, and dragging it out to the court stage with others?

Hi to all.
My son successfully reclaimed bank charges from Natwest amounting to £399.00 and today received a letter from them stating that this amount would be repaid to him and that it would be paid directly into his Natwest account. He has not used this account for several months and contacted Natwest to ask them to either send him a cheque for the full amount or for the amount to be paid into his account at HSBC.He was advised that this was not possible as he could only receive the funds if they were paid directly into his old Natwest account.Surely if the money is rightly his then he is entitled to choose the payment method he prefers. Any thoughts or suggestions very much appreciated.0 -

I think they are doing this with most people - if you have an account with them, it goes in there!
Could he just not go into his bank and transfer it or withdraw it as soon as it has been paid in?0 -

Sounds like yet another one of their stalling tactics!
Have you started the court process or anything yet because if not I would would ring them one more time and tell them if you don't receive it you will start the court process without any further notice0 -

Hiya, I had this too, they said they would send out a duplicate and I did actually get both letters on the same day one the original and one the duplicate. That was only last week so it may still appear. It does make me giggle though as the dates are completely odd on the letters as though they had typed them after I phoned!
Fingers crossed you get them asap!0
