Remember to add the £5 to your claim, you can reclaim the SAR money as well.the way forward is the consumer action group .co.uk0 -

Thanks again for your help. That's really encouraging to hear - I'm a bit nervous about them calling my bluff, and saying they'll see me in court: maybe they're realising we all mean business now. From what I'm reading though, court is the last place the banks want to go to.
I'm just dying to work out how much I can claim back from them !

I'm having the same trouble with Natwest - think they are just trying ti p**s people off in the hope they will give up!
Sent them the first letter requesting statements. Sent an email to check if they had received it. Got a reply saying that they had no record of it (surprise surprise) and to telephone the lending department for further help.
I emailed them back asking for the fax or email for the lending department as I wanted everything in writing and also asked why I had to deal with the lending department when they classed it as a complaint.
Got another reply froma different person saying they can confirm they have reiceve my letter and have forwarded my email to the customer services to let them know I was chasing it up!
It was the customer services I contacted in the first place!
Make your mind up Natwest :mad:0 -
Hi
I'm in the money claim process at the moment and send off my AQ last week. However my fiance has told me something that has got me a little concerned....
Apparently there is an investigation going on into these bank charges - due to the amount of people reclaiming them with the results due to be released in March. He says it is possible that the charges could be proved to be legal so therefore no more claims could be made. Has anyone else heard anything about this?0
