Woohoo!! Sent my original claim letter off on the 23rd May and recieved a response today. I asked for £1,232 and I recieved £1,031. Have decided to accept!! Just sent my acceptance letter in the post today!!

Got a reply from the email I sent Leeds and they have confirmed that as signed acceptance was received on 6th July then I should have funds by 20th at the latest!! :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j

As usual looks like HSBC dont know their a**e from their elbow!!

_pale_ I'm feeling positively sick with worry now and if I hadnt combusted last night I would definitely be doing it now!!! :mad:

No way, that contradicts what happened with joncow when he phoned they said no later than wednesday and that was nowhere near 14 working days :mad: .

Think they are just covering their backs, keeping hold of the interest just abit longer. Bet you were speechless when she said 14 working days. I really can t believe it.

Im speechless as well, have to go and have a cigarette and calm down now.
Good job you phoned though, even though isn t good news. Maybe they will look into your other claim now and you might have some joint good news.

We have always said on here a gentle nudge does seem to get things moving. Maybe thats why jon got his money earlier as he phoned them and it prompted them into doing his. Just an idea:cool:
