Noooooooooooo! Friday night is tooooooo late!! My daughter is having a party on Friday and I have to buy stuff for that, also I borrowed money off my partner and he has to pay his rent on Friday!! I only have £10 in the bank so please predict it will be tonite!!! :rotfl:
  • Hi all! I put in a claim for about 2.5 grand (incl interest) on each of two accounts on 22nd May.;)
All pretty painless, sent two letters then decided to follow all your great advice :A (it's become a daily read to see how you're all doing!:p ) and wait 8 weeks.
Sent a gentle nudging reminder via e-mail on internet banking on Friday last week (8 weeks up on 24th July) and got a reply on Sunday with an offer of just over £1700 for one of the accounts (no formal letter received yet) apparantly they are still looking into the other account even though both claims were sent at the same time:confused: ......they've still got a few days left, but I'm really pleased with first offer:j .....time to buy some new sofa's!!:j Good luck everyone - it'll all work out in the end for us all I'm sure!

Well done!!! I really think it is worth waiting the 8 weeks instead of enduring the stress of going to court. The court cases seem to take twice as long. I hope you don't have to wait as long as us lot to get your money paid into your account tho! They say allow 14 days but it seems to range between 5 and 14 days. Unfortunately us latest lot seem to be at the bottom end of that waiting time

Anyway, we all have our fingers crossed for a good result tonite so check back in tomorrow to see what happened! :rotfl:
