Tesco Complaints - Who to Escalate To?

That's absolutely ridiculous!
What on earth is the point of having a delivery slot if they are going to deliver outside it?
If they can't be accurate to within a two hour slot they should make the slots three hours wide to accommodate variations. (i.e the customer sees a three hour slot but the delivery drivers sees a two hour slot with a half hour leeway either side for contingencies.)
Whenever the driver has wanted to deliver early, they have called me to ask if it's convenient. Luckily, each time i've been in as if i was expecting a delivery between 3 and 5pm i wouldn't risk leaving it till the last minute to get home. But that's just me, i understand that some people might not be like this.0 -

Ah, if they call first that's fair enough.
I agree that I wouldn't plan on leaving it until the last minute but I'd be pretty annoyed if I was delayed, rushed home for the delivery, and found it had been attempted and abandoned. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
I have just worked out that I use my credit card for so many things, that Tesco bank must make £400 out of my usage, but they have charged me £12 for going £6 over my credit card limit and are refusing to budge on these charges! I have threatened to close the account and they don't care - are these companies so stupid that all they see is the £ signs on their charges and not on what they would lose long term - if this is a British company attitude, then there's no wonder our country is in such a mess. Having dealt with BT and had so many problems with them - why stick with British?!0

Why would you think that they would refund your charge ? It's clearly stated and easy to avoid if you keep a track of what you spend.
Maybe if you hadn't made threats when asking for a refund you might have had a different outcome.0 -
Hello all,
I recently purchased a product from Tesco that was 13 months past its 'Best Before' date. Would I be entitled to any form of compensation due to the amount of time that the product was past its best before date? I have contacted Tesco, and I still have the product and the receipt, Any advice on what to do next?0 -

No right to any compensation. if you take it back to store they may well replace it and if you ask nicely a small amount on a giftcard to compensate for an additional journey you may have to make to return the item.
However it's not illegal to sell things past their BB dates, and mistakes like this do happen.0 -
I have just got off the phone to Tesco Credit card. They charged me £30+ interest for payment 1 day late and refused to budge. So I said I want to cancel the card which they replied "ok i'll do it now". Didn't even attemt to keep me as a custmer and had the cheek to advised me I could take out another card with them in 8 months! I spend £10,000+ each year on the card so their loss.:mad:0

Not really their loss is it? You are just a customer number to them0

And if you usually paid off your bill each month they would not have been making any money off you anyway. If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550

I was told over Christmas 2012 that I needed to write to customer services at head office and at the same time was advised on the phone that they would not do anything with my complaint by the Tesco agent on the phoneHi,
Does anyone have any contact details for someone at Tesco who is likely to listen to/action a complaint?
The Customer Service centre cannot/willnot do anything via email or phone and claim to have not received written letters.
thanks0
