Foxy-Lady what has happened to you is downright OUTRAGOUS! I would be furious. Think I would be totally hassling boots head office on a daily basis. What a shower of complete muppets. Have you saught further advice from citizens advice? The lady on the clip did get an apology and compensation in the end, so hang in there flower and stand your ground!!!!!!
Thankyou to OP who posted one show clip - does make for interesting viewing (it is a couple of minutes into the beginning of the show).0 -

Haven't been on this thread before but am an avid boots shopper
Foxy-lady, what an awful story, hope it all works out in the end but you must feel sick everytime you think about it.
My local boots has one older SA who is really lovely and when you pay she comes up with all sorts of ideas for how you can get more offers:D but some seem to resent you getting any offers at all:(.
Isn't it a bit daft the SA's getting all stroppy when you are simply taking advantage of an offer which Boots has given you and wants you to use!! well maybe not the glitches but they make a fortune from us overall.
I'm not moaning about SAs in general - they are just a reflection of the break down of people in the world generally i suppose - some nice, some mean.....some maybe jealous because you have so many pretty things but if it was me, I would be watching out for gitches on the till then stock up, LOL!! Of course, only when I needed something, what with trying to cut down my stash and all.....:rotfl:
Anyway, feels a bit wrong to advertise Boots after what they have done to poor Foxy lady, but I know you guys need your fix...so... if anyone interested, they have cut their lovely fluffy hot water bottles to half price - six pounds something. I have one from last year and it stays warm for ages (I also have one for my outdoor catand it's still warm in the morning) but have resisted stashing another one in the spirit of my decluttering
. They don't have loads left and I don't want to cause a stampede by posting on grabbit, but since we are all friends here....shhh don't tell any......;)..it's in store only, can't see them on the website.
However, whilst looking for the hotties, I did come across a cute No 7 make up set well cheap £6.50 http://www.boots.com/en/No7-Black-Christmas-Evening-Bag_1144022/
and a botanics relaxation set http://www.boots.com/en/Botanics-Aroma-Total-Relaxation-Massage-Kit_1127513/
Both look like leftovers or returns from the Christmas gifts.
Feels nice that I can share some tips with yee all after taking up a few from this site myself. :TLess stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -

I thought facewashes were excluded under cleaners - was this with your £5 skincare voucher? Are you able to post any more details pretttttty please and lead me astray! I just put 2 vouches in the bin but they are retrievable - my sister loves Sanctuary and this would be fab for her birthday toiletry box!Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!

Sanctuary cleansers are not excluded, only RoC, Olay, L'oreal and Time Delay! The cleansers and toners from Sanctury are fab and remove eye makeup as well. They usually cost £7.14 each so with the voucher they come to £2.14! A great bargain, I've bought 4 sets now! HTH0 -
I went to my local Boots today with the intention of taking advantage of the 6 for the price of 3 Sanctuary minis because of the 3 for 2/5 for 4 glitch and met a lovely lady who's daughter (who stays in England) had phoned her to tell her about the glitch using Ted Baker minis
She phoned her daughter back to see which ones she was looking for as she coldn't see any Ted Baker minis. On overhearing her conversation I realised she was after the same glitch as me so showed her the other minis that I thought would be in the offer i.e. Sanctuary Soap and Glory and FCUK.
When she told her daughter what I was saying, her daughter relayed back to her to let me know about the other glitch with the cucumber/fragrance free cleansing wipes.
We ended up standing in the aisle talking for ages about the offers we had managed to get in the past.
I had a lovely wee chat but ended up being put off my stride and went through the self checkout with 15 minis instead of the 12 that I had intended getting but when I got home I noticed this actually worked out better value as the 3 for 2 had kicked in five times and the 5 for 4 had kicked in three times meaning I only paid for 7 of them and got 8 free.
Paid £16.65 and saved £18.95. I also used a points coupon for an extra 150 points when I spent £15.00. My reciept also says "Promotion total 19.00 but I've no idea what that means!!
p.s. Foxy-lady - really sorry to hear what happened to you. I'm sure everything will work out in the end but make sure they are properly sorry for the stress they are causing you.0 -

Thank you (off to go through bin and find vouchers!)
I reckon boots hide the cheaper stuff when these offers are on because I don't remember even seeing this one today but I'll have a better look next time!:beer:Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!

Is this good stuff?
I'm tempted..... Wish the 3 day frizz ease was back in stock saves me making two trips to collect parcels...
By the way, how do you find out how much is left in stock and when offers end??
