Tried the 1/3 off bath and shower gel voucher for the 1st time.
I bought the dove shower creme reduced from £2.09 to £1 and I got it for think it was about 66p Does that sound about right?
Yep i got a couple of those at that price too today, not complaining they are £1 in asda at the momentGRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED

Thanks not complaining either, my maths is not that great and just wanted to check that the glitch worked.
I think they've fixed the glitch nowa few days ago i bought the same shower gel but paid about 34pence because it took 1/3 of the original price of £2.09 (which was about 66 pence) off the promotional price of £1. It's still a good price with the voucher though

some more advice pls from you experienced bootsers,
( I have had an advantage card for years and
never bothered checking the offers from the ATM until I came across you guys on this forum!)
How often do your offers change from past experience, I have been stuck on the same offer for the last month and spent soo much in the sale whereas my sister who bought possibly one roll of wrapping paper (that's it) had all the decent offers. After I borrowed her card and bought 9 dove deodorants yesterday that offer seems to have disappeared but we dud buy about 4 dove shower creams each as well and that offer is still available to her.
I just don't get the randomness of it, anyone any with more experience take the time comment, I'd really appreciate it. I'm even thinking of asking my husband who doesn't have a boots card to open an account so I don't have to beg/borrow my sisters card next time there's a dove emergency!GRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED

celebrate, get your OH a boots card. Mine has, and didn't know it until he got a mailing. My DD has one too.
Whichever card was used less the last month has better offers on it.
I get 200 points when you spend £40. DD gets 200 points when you spend £15.:whistle:0 -
Thanks to this fourum have now plucked up courage to use the SS till. The SA in charge had to come over to overide my coupon, no idea why I just acted dumb... I was panicking it was cos i had used a few Dove vouchers thro the till... Anyway it worked. Also used the Shower gel offer. My Mum tried to use the shampoo offer Dove was on 2 for £3 but the disc vucher was nt allowed too for 1/3 off one item . We bottled it and did nt argue... Should it have worked?0

The ACM wasn't particularly kind to me today - the only voucher worth having was the third off deodorant. So I picked up the Dove roll on - just the one mind!!! Tara Thanks for the tip on pressing the "print" repeatedly. I assume you mean keep pressing it quickly rather than removing your card and putting it back each time?
Yes, just keep pressing it as quickly as you can till the 'print' button disappears!no worries
i was thinking that as i wrote it actually-that i hope no-one gets ideas but i also couldn't believe that their self serve system with the coupons is potentially open to abuse
just a side point with the printing off of "X" number of coupons-potentially if people are getting upto 15 at a time-aren't the SA's questioning this at all? isn't there a limit to the number they will let you use at once? how did you manage to get them all through the SS till , does it accept it all as one transaction or did you have to do each item individually. I don't think I would have had the guts to do this 3 lots of 3 was about my limit before I got flustered and called it a day!
lol!
I just keep calm and do one transaction at a time, it's all legal and above board and nobody has challenged me yet. If they did I would be embarrassed but polite, and explain that I am using the coupons that the ACM gave me, one per transaction.some more advice pls from you experienced bootsers,

It is very random. I have never had such good offers before! Think that's my lot and I am probably going to be stuck with the dud 250pts wys £35 coupons all year now. :rotfl:

Not sure, sometimes it won't work if an item is on 2for£x, but it will work if it's half price. Such are the quirks of Bootsing!SandraScarlett wrote: »Foxy-lady, there is something very wrong about this. In the first instance, Boots have always said that without a receipt, they will exchange anything, with some exceptions, like cosmetics, or food.
Secondly, you said that the SA had given you a gift card and then, 10 seconds later, the security guard arrested you and contacted the police as he suspected refund fraud? Someone must have signalled for him to do so. Have you contacted Boots Customer Services about this? It seems outrageous.
Can I just add that if anyone posts on here with advice, such as not to try scanning the same coupon more than once, it's only because they have read horror stories on here in the past, and are trying to be helpful, not trying to take the moral high ground.
May I suggest that if any of us wish to return something, without a receipt, that we contact Customer Services first, explain the reasons why, and ask for a reference number. Then we can approach an SA, and state that we've spoken to CS, who have approved an exchange, or a gift card, and we have been given a number, proving our call.
Just trying to be helpful.
xx
Thanks for that SS - the 3rd paragraph is what I was trying to get across earlier in my post. Our only wish is to keep you guys out of trouble!
Good advice re ringing CS as well, I will defo do this if I ever have reason to return something sans receipt. Is this good stuff?
I'm tempted..... Wish the 3 day frizz ease was back in stock saves me making two trips to collect parcels...
By the way, how do you find out how much is left in stock and when offers end??
Thanks
The offers usually last as long as the money off vouchers, which are renewed every 4 weeks, and this time, the expiry date is Tuesday 22nd, then there'll be a new one from Wed 23rd until Tues 22nd March, etc.
You can tell if something is in stock online, by pretending to order 99, and then it will either show that number, or say that the deal is limited to "x" number per customer, or say that there are only, for example, 24 in stock, or say that they are out of stock.
IMHO, P & P is fine, but at £27 is very overpriced. However, when the price zooms down to £8 a tube, they are very attractive for personal use and make very nice and welcome gifts! HTH
