  • I'm really sorry to hear about your experience at Boots foxy! That is shocking, how can they treat customers like that?

It is quite shocking they have a policy where you can take items back without a receiot butthen accuse customers of fraud.

I have taken items back in the past without receipts, not to Boots mind, but I think I will never do so again after hearing your awful experience.

I bought this using my skinnie voucher and when i took it to the till the SA thought it was hand cream and said the voucher is only for facial skincare. I pointed out her mistake and she then tried to put it through and it wouldn't scan. In the end she overrode the till and let me have it, I don't think either of us realised that this time delay exfoliater is actually a facial wash thingy and comes under their no time delay cleansers exception. It was a genuine error on my part but was happy because i got it for free.:D

Thanks, I half thought this, but being pedantic, the voucher does say "excluding cleanser, toner .....etc" in the singular, from these ranges and this product is described as the exfoliator. Not really bothered anyway!!

I'm wondering what to spend my last 3 skinnies on. I got the Sanctuary microdermabrasion stuff the other day and am going to try it today. If it's good I might get another, otherwise I might try their cleanser for £2.xx or just get more TD Radiance Booster.

Has anyone tried the Sanctuary heating clay mask? http://www.boots.com/en/Sanctuary-5min-Thermal-Detox-Mask-100ml_1109873/ I have such noticeable blackheads on and around my nose and am desperate to get rid of them!!!!

    I also fancy this:

Just back from Boots and the facial wipes offer still working as is the mini's offer. The machine gave me a coupon for 1/3rd off shower gel/bubble bath but worked against the mango fizz bath bomb (as already mentioned by another poster) not the Doves bodywash already on offer at £1. The bath bomb is lovely, got one as a prize at Christmas. No Lee Stafford 3 day straightener stuff in stock but as I use LS I got climate conditioner £5.99 and shampoo £5.99 for £8 saving £3.98. In all spent £20.82 saved £21.76 and it's all stuff I or DD use.

Question for all you Bootsers (the font of knowledge lol).

I got 4 Aussie shampoos for £1.52 each during the week by combining the 1/3 off and 25% off shampoo vouchers (put each shampoo through separately). Would this work on all brands? I love Aussie but was thinking of trying out a different brand if I could get it cheap. TIA!!!

  • Thanks to everyone for their valuable posts, especially the OP.
I'm a regular Boots shopper but have never been lucky enough to take advantage of any "glitches", this thread has been fab so keep 'em coming!
Just been into my local Boots got 6 packs of wipes but thought I'd been charged £6 so asked the SA to take them off. She was lovely and pointed out the glitch! She checked my receipt, even resorted to pen & paper to check she was correct! Really lovely, staff like that make me more likely to shop there & I'm sure Boots can stand the few quid I gain. I also pressed the print button 3 times on the deodorant at the ACM & used those on the "Dove" offers. Did it in 3 separate purchase as assumed I had to, Is that right? Think the SA's thought I was a bit thick keep going back?!
Note to all you lovely Bootsters in the know, When do all the new offers/glitches start??!! I've got a taste for this now!!

Ps. To Foxy Lady, Hang on in there. The onus is on them to prove your guilt, which they can't do if you've done nothing wrong!

For those wanting cheap Sanctuary minis, these are three for £2.81. But only 26 in stock, so I think they will disappear fast

Thanks for this but what on earth is bath creme - thought it would be bubble bath but on the packaging looks more like body lotion?

Just back from shopping trip including Boots - none of the sanctuary scrub at £7 (surrrrrprise!) so unless I can find one in the shop near work tomorrow those vouchers are back to the bin. Hoping the No, 7 voucher comes next as I like their day cream and you get a big one 100ml - my skin is super sensitive and this doesn't make me red.

BF dragged me into a well boring looking shop call Savers - I was almost gonna wait outside but really glad I didn't - they have some very good deals - some stuff was half what Boots were charging almost next door such as Radox buble bath and some hand creams and body lotions - loads of big name brands too!! I think I've become too Bootsyfied and need to expand my horizons - this shop is a definite return visit.
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!
