Ive been reading this thread with interest and looking out for the offers but Ive come to the conclusion I must have the worlds most rubbish boots, and its not even a small one...nothing reduced, no sale shelves (except straight after christmas) they don't have anything at all mentioned here, oh and to top it off my 104 points from my order back in Jan has disappeared...it says I need to collect them on the machine, but when I go to the machine it says theres nothing there - I can only assume that its because it was originally ordered with a 'temporary online' card but there seems to be no way of crediting these points to my account now...

I actually find Boots massively overwhelming at the moment, there are just too many offers - everywhere you turn, it's 3 for 2, 2 for 1, £5 voucher this, £3 voucher that...if you can work out what to use it on.....you will see from my earlier post that we ended up in Savers - all prices easily understood and cheap - what you see is what you pay.

Don't get me wrong, I still like boots, but it's not the Holy Grail!

I also noticed today that whilst this thread has almost 30 thousand viewings (!) a poster is lucky to get 3 thank yous. Would be nice if people reading who don't post would acknowledge the people who make the effort to share their deals. Come on lurkers.

Edit - yes I know the original post has - deservedly - lots of t-yous but come on, the cucumber and the mini glitches are genius. We should thank them too!!

Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

Does anyone have the online parenting code for £5 off a £20 spend. I got one in the post but can't seem to find it. Thanks! Please pm me or send me the link where I can get it.

  • Right, so can I just confirm the S&G offer before I scurry along to Boots tomorrow morning! The minis are on 3for2 and also 5for4. So I should be buying 6? Is this a nationwide offer and has it worked for everybody? Does it work on self serve tills?
I don't want to end up at the tills with £12 odd to pay for!

May I say a big thank to all for the glitches in this thread. I got the Cucumber and Fragrance Free wipes today, the JF Straightening 2 for £7.50 and some Aussie shampoo bits. Also got 2 bracelet, a pair of earrings and an earring and necklace set for £4.00. Got 3 Time Delay Daily serums with my vouchers for my sister's friend in Switzerland who was admiring my skin when I went there in January and I told her about Time Delay. I have about 8 vouchers left so am looking for the Night Serum aswell for her and me. It made me laugh as she is a rich lady who usually uses Estee Lauder face products.

Really enjoyed myself as all the Sunday girls in the boots in the next town are lovely and were fascinated by the Wipes glitch. It reminded me of the old Boots thread run by CrazyPoshgal where all the offers in store, online and in the magazine were listed at the top of the thread and updated every few days.

Remember the No 7 Sun Products which were buy 6 and only pay for 1 and the same with Mens Right Guard Deodorant. My OH, son and daughters boyfriend havent bough a deodorant in about 12 months. Those were the days.
  • ok, so have 4 vouchers left!! now what to spend them on? I got the time delay wrinkle reduce eye cream for £2.14p. I see the night cream is £8.26 as its reduced online, wonder if its instore too?

Is there anything that comes up as free with the voucher?:rotfl: Going tmw to use them up but decisions decisions!!
    oooooooh i luv a bargain :)

I'm being thick but isn't it buy 5 and the 4th is free?

Sure you guys are much more clever than me but I bought 15 today (yes I know a bit mad but was consoling myself as no more dove vouchers lol!)
Basically I paid for 8 and got 7 free -total cost around £19 or about £1.25 per item, all items were either sanctuary/fcuk or s&g minis at 2.35 ish each

    You're almost correct, it's the 5th that is free (5 for 4).

I too bought 15, 6 cucumber wipes, 6 S&G minis and 3 FCUK minis. 15 is the optimum, being the LCM (lowest common multiple) of 3 and 5 or something mathematical like that!

I think if you check your receipt you will have actually paid for 7 and got 8 free. My total spend was £13 something.
