Oh thanks John but my life depends on me being able to drive. I'm a single mum and need my car to get about from A to B and my work. If I csnt work I'd not be able to pay my mortgage. I've got myself without a licence, a job and ultimately homeless all because of this 50 thing on the TT.

3 which will be 3 yrs on may so therefor would not live this may coming I think. Is that right? They stay on you licence for 4 yrs but only live for 3 yrs?

They are also legally required to have "repeater" signs every so often (I think it's every quarter or half mile, honestly can't remember) to remind you of that 50 limit, so you would have had to have missed every single repeater.

Also, don't worry about losing your licence. 70 in a 50 is 3 points and a £60 fine and you need 12 points to lose your licence.

But you wont be getting any points as there is no 50 limit on that stretch.

Thanks again, you have no idea how much I appreciate this. It's practically keeping me sane whilst I sit hoping and praying that the postman doesn't bring any letters.

Ive thought of nothing else ever since that TT started bleeping under every gatzoo/gantry and I've thought about every single detail that I can remember. Keep thinking surely I would not have missed 50 signs if I could clearly hear TT bleeps and the yellow flashing cones.
