    This may seem like a simple question, but which court do i put in the template letter. I don't want to do something stupid and put the highest court in the land or something just for a £75 refund!!!
    ;):grin:

    I don't think there's mention of a specific court in the template. My claim automatically defaulted to Northampton Court when I printed it out (though I didn't have to mention any court at all). Northampton is many miles away from me but, if it actually goes to court, you'll be notified that the hearing will be held at a court local to you.

    I bought my first house in April and opened a new account (as per Martin's advice) - the A&L Premier Direct account with a £1000 o/draft which I desparately needed.

    So we all know what an expense it is to get on the housing ladder, and I've incurred £547 worth of overdraft charges and failed DD default charges between May and October 2006.

    I've opened a new account, sent my two letters to A&L, received their standard responses (as others have noted) so I have now claimed my money online with Moneyclaim.

    I'll keep you posted as there seems to be a distinct lack of people that have claimed from A&L and I'm certainly anxious!

    You're not alone ... just submitted mine on behalf of a relative that I'm doing all the work for. Historically, A&L let it go "nearly" all the way then, when they've stated their intent to defend, a cheque should land on your doormat within a couple of weeks. Let's keep our fingers crossed we don't have any complications along the way ..... icon7.gif

  • I was worried until I read the last few threads as I have submitted MCOL and have received an acknowledgement saying that they are going to defend. I have also included the monthly od charges and would love to get the £900 back that I have requested.

    Lets hope that they dont pick me for one that they want to take to court and I get everything back like the rest of u.

    Hello everybody , this is my 1st post but i have been watching the forum for months whilst claiming from A&L. All has gone to plan as you all said. After going through the court process A&L sent a letter saying they were going to defend which gave them 28 days. 14 days later a cheuqe for £2818.06 arrived. I just want to say thanks to everybody who start the threads and to the people who respond to them as they have kept me going and kept the worries at bay. thanks again. jaybo123

    P.S. Has anybody had there account closed after being paid out.
    thanks , :jaybo123 ::beer: :j :money: :rotfl:
