I hope that is the case...........safety in numbers, i understand courts/judges are getting brassed off with banks for time wasting.

i didnt have an overdraft on my account but when they paid my DD i went overdraw on my account it is worded like this,
    paid item charge £25
    monthly OD charge £25
    Unauthorised charge day 2 £25
    Unauthorised charge day 5 £25

76cat, I'm going to shift your post into the A&L thread in a minute as I'm sure you'll find there that this is a standard letter from A&L and not the fact that you may have claimed the wrong things.

They are a very helpful bunch on the A&L thread and will guide you through!

I have had my allocation questionaire back from A & L (well a copy of what they have sent the court) In other cases they have ticked to have an extra month to settle out of court, but they haven't done this in mine and I don't think they are asking for anything either. I'm a bit worried about if I have sent anything off incorrect, poc etc...

The only thing I can think of is that in some letters I have had mine and my husbands name and in others, just mine. When I went through MCOL I did it in just my name. Our account was a joint account, do you think what I have done so far is ok.

I will post a very quick over view of what has happened so far and just ask for you to have a quick look over, if you have time.

    Many thanks
    Take care all

hi mimijane, so i see you have your date for court, im sure i will get mine soon, where is your hearing taking place, mine is Liverpool County Court, you seem to be organised and know what needs to be done, unlike myself.
I have just finished my nights this morning, so am going to be doing lots of reading on the links, i havent been in touch with my court yet, like you said, or sent them anything, but will do this weekend,
    Good luck
  • Success Story! I claimed £202.60 from A&L (inc.interest and court fees) and today I have received a letter from them settling in full! Got the expected blurb about not an admission of liability, charges fair and reasonable blah blah but who cares I got every penny back.

They also added that since I "do not accept the terms and conditions for the operation of account we will be contacting you to discuss its future operation" but hey, again, what do I care cos I have set up my parachute account already. So the message is they CAN be beat!

Anyone got copies of A&L Terms and Conditions for 2000 and/or 2006?

If so, I'd be really grateful if you'd let me know.
