Hey all, going to jump on the Supershock Gel Eyeliner band wagon here. I LOVE IT. I use the steel one daily. I save the black for the dramatic look when going out at night. I have the silver to use as a highlighter for a glitzy night time look (gorgeous and very glam). I also have the plumful, which I am not so keen on, but am going to persist with different ways of using it to see if I can come up with one I like. Getting the Bronze one next to give it a try.

Also have to agree with MC ref the SuperMagnify Mascara. I have very short eyelashes and this mascara gets right into the root to cover every last stumpy millimeter to make the most of what I have. Is great for getting all the bottom lashes too. No clumpiness at all.

Make-up brushes, are very good quality for the price (especially if you wait until they are half-price ;) Very soft, love the foundation brush. They don't lose bristles either so last well if you look after them and wash them regularly.

I am not a huge fan of the Avon Jewellery range. Most of it tends to be quite cheap and very fake silvery looking. The rings I have seen have very thick bands. Recently bought the Sterling Silver Pink Fairy Necklace though and was pleasantly surprised. Lovely thin chain and the fairy is of a good quality. More like this please Avon :)

I am a customer, and not a rep.

I LOVE the Anew Foundation. Full price is £15 but every few brochures it comes up for £9 each or 2 for £15. Really good coverage, great for dry sensitive skin and good value even at £15. Must admit that now I know my shade I often buy on ebay at reduced price if it is not on special offer :D

Avon Toning Flip Flops. I loved these at first but found that after a month of light wear the straps came away at the sides. I replaced them with genuine fitflops (bought in the sale) and must say I prefer the real thing.

Avon Toning Slippers. Love these but would prefer a nice snug lining - the soles arejust plastic like the flip flops which isn't as nice as the snug slipper top. Wouldn't recommend them for outdoor wear as the top gets soggy quickly!

Avon Perfumes. Love, love Love Outspoken by Fergie. Otherwise ther are a few nice perfumes but as a general rule they wear off quickly and need reapplying frequently. Quite cheap though so worth a try for everyday/work etc.

Avon underwear: quality is more like Primark than M & S but some of the styles designs are really nice.

Hey all, going to jump on the Supershock Gel Eyeliner band wagon here. I LOVE IT.

Would you Supershock lovers say that the eyeliner is better than the Glimmersticks? Has anyone tried both?

hey annie-c, I have tried both and find that the Gel eyeliner has a much better staying power and also glides on much easier. Although be sparing when you apply as it can be a pain to rub off if you go a bit OTT :o Be especially careful with the black as it is VERY black

I still use the glimmerstick if I want a thinner line though.

I have been using Advance Techniques Quick Touch leave in hair conditioner for many years, over which it has changed formulation a few times. (It used to be a pink liquid that smelled like roses!)

It seems to suit my long, fine hair and saves me loads of time.
Best to use a small amount first, and build up to what suits your hair.

I use this with an Avon brush and comb for long/wet hair which was given to me in the 1970's:eek::eek:

I have to say I love the t-shirt bras, they're really comfortable. I don't spend much on my bras, most are from primark lol, but these are far more comfortable for about the same price (well when you take into account my discount they are lol). Also give you a much better shape too ;)

Agree with you here, Lozza - I've had loads of these and find they wash well, too:)

Used t love their rings and jewellery but agree with point above that it has gone cheaper looking. Some pendants etc are ok (and I've given as gifts) but not as good as before.
I have a ring son gave me about 14yrs ago - can't see the new ones lasting that long. But there is a wedding and engagement set for £4 in the clearance which I mgiht get as mine getting tight!
Have picked up the inital pendants for kids gifts when on offer too.

I've had both and would definitely go with the supershock everytime, glides on so easily :D

Yes I have tried both, and far prefer the supershock gel eyeliner. The black is quite dramatic, but that is what I wanted! Have silver as well and steel on it's way to me!

Glad to see the advice idea is working re the hair elixir etc :)

ps fully agree re jewellery, think a good rule of thumb is the ones that are sterling silver are better. I have the sapphire drop earrings and they are lovely
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???
