• Nice idea and i know you mean well but this is the Up Your Income Thread, and your technically promoting the products.

Have you cleared it with admin.:D

Thanks, BS; sure the OP would appreciate any suggestions/guidance as the best section to post such a thread and, of course, whether this actually does contravene the T&C's of the forum i.e. these are all personal recommendations because we have tried and trust the products we've highlighted. Surely personal recommendations are allowed - yes/no?

Probaly best if the op self refers it to the forum team for a decision. at forumteam<a>moneysavingexpert.com

IMHO your promoting Avon Products even though its not the intention. If you moved it elsewhere you would still be doing this.

Whether it does breach the site rules is of course something for Admin to decide. Perhaps one of mods may have view on this.

Given that Avon have their own forum would it not be better to run there. http://www.avonconnects.co.uk

Well my favourites are:
Old style SSS bath oil - can't beat it for moisturising or smell
Toning Slippers - also found them great - been out in garden and to get coal and they're still fine - want another pair!!
Cream to powder foundation - great to dab on quickly and hardly any blending (or none!)
Leave-in Conditioner - great as it will set your hair in place a bit too (also when kids young use a lot with the nit combs - works wonders and no horrid chemicals!!)
Fruity lip salves
Sun Lotions - great value when on offer (3 for £10 etc) - have you seen the price of some??
Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch

The avon forum is rubbish, last time I logged in was September as I just can't navigate the sodding thing! Far too many negative people too - I'm all for opinions being balanced, but its seems like the only people that post on there are the ones that want to moan about something, I like the little "avon family" we have on here :)
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A

Thanks, BS, what about being even more helpful - what's your fave Avon product and why?

This thread reads like an advertorial for Avon. Nowt to do with increaseing your income.

Next thing we will have is a thread like it for each Opportunity. EG Kleeneze people saying how much they like the Spider Catcher etc.. :rotfl:
• I am not an Avon Customer.:D

What? Don't you have a friendly little Avon Lady call on you? What a shame.... Maybe you should sign up yourself and be an Avon Man? Hmmmm.... guess this would now qualify for being in the 'Up Your Income' section of the forum.

:o Sorry again, OP, for diverting the thread again.

To bring it back on topic, also

Advance Techniques Curling Gel - just gives natural curls a boost rather than that spidery, sticky look.
