wedding and engagement set for £4 in the clearance which I mgiht get as mine getting tight!
Have picked up the inital pendants for kids gifts when on offer too.
The W&E set certainly looks the part - no idea what it's like to wear though (only ever sold one at full price but they seemed happy with it) - and agree, the initial pendants are really sweet too.

Have lost count of the gold bracelets I've lost/damaged over the years so now - certainly when doing my Avon rounds - I just wear the Avon bracelets. The Mum and Eugenia ones seem to go nicely together at the mo. :)
Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon ;))

**Fit Flops** Just wanted to let you all know that the Fit Flops are quite generous in size. I am a 5, or often a 6, but the smaller size is fine for me and the larger one drowns me! Thought this may be of use! Extemely comfortable though, and I am the fussiest person in existence when it comes to flip flops!! :D
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???
  • Avon Quick Touch Leave in Conditioner - fab for those awful de-lousing moments !! :j great that you don't have to wash it out

Well, I had a night out last night, and I have to join in with the supershock gel eyeliner praises. I put quite a bit on and it didn't budge. I've got steel & plum.

Thanks to another rep for the tip - I also use her tip of putting a layer of translucent powder over my eyelids and underneath after applying to "set" it - this seems to help the staying power as I have dreadful trouble with looking like alice cooper after a few hours.

I have tried this with glimmersticks and it doesn't work as well as with supershock, so I'm sticking with them.

Also wore Avon eyeshadow and that was also still completely in place at the end of the night! Even better than Mac. I used to use a eyeshadow base as well - but last night I forgot to bring it with me (was away from home) and didn't use it ..... and the fab eyeshadow still stayed in place! Really looking forward to building up my collection now.

Lotus Shield - I really notice when I haven't used it. Thanks to MC for the split end mender tip - I haven't been for a trim for "a number of months" now, and won't be able to afford to for a couple more weeks ..... so might give that a go.

Oh, and I bought a handbag a few months ago, use it every day, and apart from one of the inside pockets ripping a bit it is standing up well to my daily abuse.

I should probably add to this that any Avon product I fall in love with usually ends up getting discontinued, the latest being the colourtrend cream blusher in a stick.

But they have brought back heat defence spray! Yippee!! A bit of common sense for a change ...
  • I am finding this thread very helpfull. My beautician started selling Avon as a sideline to earn extra cash and is giving clients the brochure to have a look through. I felt a little bit obliged to order something but didn't want to waste money on something rubbish. I ended up getting the skin so soft oil as I had heard it was good protection against the midges and it was on a special offer. I'll be taking up some of the suggestions on here next time I am given the brochure. Thanks.
  • Also the Skin So Soft Hand cream, I suffer with really dry skin on my hands in the winter and it is the ONLY cream I've found that does any real good, and I've tried quite a lot before now :o

Hmm, have discovered a couple of things I can't recommend: the Speed Dry nail varnish wasn't all that quick to dry but was super-quick to chip and look awful! (As an aside, I wish Avon did a base & top coat which would help with all their nail polishes.)

Also the green tea cuticle pen made my cuticles feel dryer than ever...

At the moment I can't get enough of the Naturals shower gels - especially when they are on offer at 99p! Strawberry & Guava is my favourite. The 150ml bottles are great for holidays but I wish they did bigger sizes for the bathroom. :)

I see there was a couple of mentions of the Tee shirt bra's above. Another vote here for them, they are really nice.

I have the quick dry, and I haven't had any trouble with chipping. strange! Maybe you had a rogue lot, or the colours are different? I had the sateen and ballerina I think they are called, and find both of them fine. I do find with Avon varnishes that they never look anything like the colour shown though :(

  • I've never had any problems with Speed Dry polish either - in fact, Avon are my fave brand for nail polish (and that includes the high end brands!).
