  • The price is also stated at £4 on their website but does state that prices are a guide and you will be charged what the price is instore on the day

My MIL had her Beringer wine delivered at £4 a bottle from asda online yesterday :T
  • Don't forget!!!!

Whatever wine you buy, most supermarkets give a discount if you buy in 6s! (Morrisons even throw in a free wine carrier which makes it easier to carry & use over & over again when you need to take them all back to the bottle bank!!!)

I've recently tried Sainsbury's Taste the Difference Irish Liquer and I can't tell it apart from Bailey's! On offer at the moment for £9.99 for a litre bottle. £5 cheaper than Bailey's!

Got a litre bottle of Bombay saphire for 14.99 in Tesco this week- great bargain

Morrisons supermarket has the same for only £13.89:
  • For those with Co-op and a taste for Single Malts, there are some good deals - not as good as the Glen Moray, but look carefully as some shops are discounting Aberlour, Glenmorangie, Glenfiddich - about £4 to £6 off - a good time to invest in your collection.
  • Asda are about to break with a strong deal on Beers tomorrow
    2 cases for £16 or 3 for £22!
This will replace the existing deal of 2 for £18 / 3 for £24.
Act quick before they limit the amount you can buy!
  • Asda are breaking with a new beer deal tomorrow....
    In place of the current 2 for £18 / 3 for £24 deal, expect to see 2 for £16 / 3 for £22!
Act quickly before they put limits on the amount of cases you can buy.

Laithwaites Wines are offering a free case of wine with your first order - you can choose either a mixt case or whites/reds only - for just £69.99 plus £5.99 per order and it doesn't seem to matter how many initial cases you order you can have the freebie case with each one placed on the order! That works out at under £3 a bottle - great price for the seasonal party!
All i had to do was register and the offer came both by post and by e-mail
try this link - not sure it's correct, but worth a try!!

Let me know if you too enjoy a merry christmas

Can you point me to the page where this is shown ? I've got a BOGOF lloyds/laithwaites voucher that came with my CC Bill, but I was trying to get a better look at the actual wines - fussy beast that I am - before I lashed out £80+

    Regards

    Kate
  • Thanks for all the positive recommendations. However, on the negative side it is worth advising that ASDA no longer appear to be running the long term "Buy 6 get 10% Off" campaign. At least that is the case (no pun intended) at my local store.
