Was in Asda High Wycombe yesterday and saw they have special offer champagne .
Paul Deltours Carte Blanche - was £22 now £10 !!
That is better than 50%. I bought a bottle (for research purposes) and drank it last night. Not vintage or premier Cru but a very drinkable, light champagne.
Never heard of paul Deltours but at that price who cares. Looked online and cannot see it so must be stores only offer. I may be wrong but i think it was running till 16th dec.

Somerfield have Glenlivet Malt whisky for £13.99 70cl. Saving of £10!! I have six bottles stashed away for Xmas pressies...... if my hubbie doesn't get to them first!

This is slightly off topic but also relevant to Cheap Booze.

Can anyone tell me if taking a Van to France, filling it up with Booze and driving home is still easily done. A friend is doing it & I thought there were alot more restrictions to cut it down.

I think that pretty much all the supermarkets have at least one brand of champagne that is £9.99.

I only know personally about the M&S one that is £9.99. There is only limited stock of it and it practically flies off the shelves as soon as we have any in.
There is another one at £12.99 that has won several awards and also the Oudinot which has been reduced to £13.99/£14.99.
