The Great Cheap Christmas Booze Hunt

We mainly went there for a day trip, and went into Brugge too, after looking at Le Mamoth, etc, and a big hypermarket, we stopped at the 'centre commercial' to the right of the euro tunnel. They have a big hypermarket, that is quite good, but for alcohol we found http://www.tesco-france.com was cheaper, you can just walk in and buy, or you can order on-line and collect. I'd assume in a few weeks you'll be able to have it delivered, but not sure on the outcome of the EU ruling.
Anyway some quick deals.
24 Cans Carling, £11.00, plus if you buy 2 cases, you'll get 1 case of 24 bottles carling free.
Gallo Family White Grenaice £2.50 per bottle
Penfolds Koonunga Hill Shiraz Cabernet £3.40 per bottle
I'd favour avoiding the expense and hassle of going to France and taking up the Asda deal of 3 x 24 (440ml) Carling at £24 or 2 cases for £180 -

Bacardi £12.99 for a 1 litre bottle in Tesco Extra today.
I know last year the supermarkets ended up selling these at 2 for £20 so it may be worth holding out a bit longer.0 -

I am a bit confused bu your post.
The normal Beringer Whitzinfadel Wine is normaly around £5.98 a bottle. It is now £4 instore at ASDA (not my original £3 odd I had posted.)
I was not talking about the Sparkling, I am unsure what you mean0 -

It perhaps is not nationwide then but I can assure you I went into asda just at the weekend and cleared out their whitezinfandel. The offer was also on the red and white wine.0 -

The price is also stated at £4 on their website but does state that prices are a guide and you will be charged what the price is instore on the day0
