  • You can get a "boxed" 70cl bottle of Baileys from ALDI for £8.99 which the wife assures me is cheaper than she has seen it anywhere else
  • Oooh - just seen Baileys on Tesco.com - 2 x 1 litre bottles for £25, or £8.98 for the mint version (70cl) or caramel version (70cl). I may well go for one of the mint and one of the caramel as Xmas gifts - hope this helps someone else, too.

Any other suggestions that would beat those prices?

  • hi -RE:- LAITHWAITES BOGOF . once registerred the BOGOF automatically came through to my email - however their offers do keep rolling in and changing so it maybe that they've changed the offer - today it shows as free delivery and 2 bottles of fizz with your 12 bottle mixt case at £49.99.
Tried the link - but it now re-directs to new offer,so unless you are in a rush i would be prepared to wait for your email / postal offers to arrive and hopefully thr return of the BOGOF.

I am actually intrigued with this upcoming ruling that is set to allow online ordering of alcohol and cigarettes after November 23rd, 2006 if the EU court passes it into law.

I can only imagine the deals and the savings........willing to wait and see.
HiTeddy, Just heard the news we still have to damn well go and get them, I knew thay wouldn't change it, too much tax lose for them, i think we should stop buy all their products and see how much they would losse, iknow we would also not benifit from doing this, but people just won't walk with their feet, same as the counciltax, if everyone stopped paying they's have to sort something out thats better for everyone.shame
  • I've been into Sainsburys today and they have Duval-Leroy champagne reduced from £19.99 a bottle to £13.99!! Didn't notice how long it was on for, but this is well worth it!!! It's a really good make - the company I work for is one of Duval Leroys major distributors and this is cheaper than the staff prices I pay!!

Paul Deltours Carte Blanche - was £22 now £10 !!
That is better than 50%. I bought a bottle (for research purposes) and drank it last night. Not vintage or premier Cru but a very drinkable, light champagne.
Never heard of paul Deltours but at that price who cares. Looked online and cannot see it so must be stores only offer. I may be wrong but i think it was running till 16th dec.

Paul Deltours is available online for £10 now too.

Thanks for all the positive recommendations. However, on the negative side it is worth advising that ASDA no longer appear to be running the long term "Buy 6 get 10% Off" campaign. At least that is the case (no pun intended) at my local store.

Yes, I went specially to Asda the other week to stock up with wines & they told me at the till that the 10% offer had ended the previous day...
Expect the worst & hope for the best...
  • Baileys is only £8.98 a bottle at Tesco's. Now available in three flavours - original, mint and creme caramel yum! :j
