ASDA have once again come up trumps for the christmas wine hunt. Went in today and they have a number of wines for half price or less including Chablis le Donjon for £5.00. It has been many a moon since I have found Chablis at that sort of special offer ( and believe me I do look regularly ) .
They also have a number of others at £3.50 which have been reduced from £7.49 and £7.99 but I was too busy elbowing people out of the way to take details. The Chablis is available on the website but annoyingly ASDA website does not show original price.

Sainsbury's are doing Croft Platinum Port for £5.49 a bottle (usually £10.99). Delicious with cheese or mince pies. :xmastree:

I was going to post that Tesco have their cheapy cava down to £2.70 ish a bottle but now I'll be off to Thresher's to get myself some nicer fizz for my money

Thanks to heaven scent this worked perfectly for presents for friends in Oz and no hefty p&p. Tried it through Quidco will wait and see if it works!!

Unfortunately, the small print says the discount is only applicable to a minimum spend of £500. Even I can't drink that much! :beer:

However, their website says they have a 3 for 2 promotion, which could result in some good bargains.

yuo've read that wrong, it is a MAX spend of £500

As victoria wine are part of the thresher group do you think the voucher will be accepted in there? We do have a Haddows but it's really small and just tends to stock beer and cheap cider though I think there is some wine
